It is an integrated system with warehouse management, inventory management and procurement features. By integrating with QuickBooks, VISCO can provide an ERP system with emphasis on costing, lot tracking, importing compliance, as well as a fully-functional CRM module. The document management module pulls data directly from the database, and uses Microsoft Office integration to develop all necessary documents for import and export. When issues arise during the distribution process, VISCO will assess the issue and email notifications to the correct team member, so that management can work quickly to find a solution. Several notifications come pre-built into the software, but customized alerts can be easily created. VISCO can integrate with third-party business applications, and can share data with Microsoft Dynamics with minimal internal development. I know if I enter a SO and PO that I will not lose track of product and an invoice will be generated so I don't forget to invoice my customer. > > **Cons**: It is not intuitive and some terminology is proprietary to Visco , i.e. "venture" so Googling a term is not helpful. Once you figure out how to use the software, it is very helpful. > > I have had numerous questions while I learn how to use the software and the VISCO staff is incredibly helpful, patient and skilled. They respond quickly and professionally. It is a real person every time you call and you can reach the same person to follow through with a question.
