> Mailich is a desktop AI email assistant for German-speaking employees, freelancers and businesses. It is intended for incoming customer enquiries and other recurring inbox work, including at trades businesses, agencies and service companies. Users install the app on Mac or Windows and connect an existing supported mailbox, such as Gmail, GMX, WEB.DE, T-Online, IONOS, iCloud or a compatible IMAP/SMTP account.

The app ranks messages by importance, produces short summaries and prepares replies in the user's personal writing style, using sent emails as examples. Users can work with summaries only, review suggested drafts or explicitly enable automatic replies for approved routine categories. Automatic sending follows guardrails and has a ten-minute cancellation window by default. AI-generated replies should be checked, particularly when they involve commitments or sensitive information.

Emails and the style profile are stored locally. Selected shortened excerpts are sent to an AI service through a Mailich relay in Germany for AI processing; the relay does not store or log the excerpts. The app needs to remain open on a computer that is switched on and connected to the internet to process new messages.

The interface and support are in German. Support is available by email, with online documentation. Monthly subscriptions are Starter at EUR 34.90, Pro at EUR 64.90 and Business at EUR 119.00, including German VAT of 19%. The plans have different daily processing and reply-draft limits and can be cancelled monthly. Current terms, data processing information and downloads are available on the Mailich website.
