Before the last day, an AI interviewer holds a spoken conversation with the departing employee, in their own language (more than 70 languages are supported). It asks role-specific questions about how the work really gets done and follows up when an answer is vague. The interview can take up to two hours, in one session or several, and the employee has nothing to prepare.

OakHive then delivers:
- A searchable handover guide for the successor, organized by chapters, with a guided session to work through it
- A manager summary that flags what was not covered, plus an offboarding checklist, before the employee leaves
- A Q\&A knowledge base the team can ask later in OakHive or Microsoft Teams, with answers linked to the original interview
- A private achievement summary for the departing employee

Knowledge builds up with every handover instead of being lost.

OakHive complements HR's exit interview rather than replacing it: it records what people know, not why they leave. It suits HR and operations teams in mid-sized and large organizations on Microsoft 365. Data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the EU and never used to train AI.
