Maintenance Log Converter is for maintenance managers, planners and reliability engineers who run maintenance from a spreadsheet, a CMMS export or a paper log and want to move toward condition-based maintenance.
The problem
Condition-monitoring platforms generally want sensors on everything before they show you anything. The schedule already exists, but it lacks the column that says what each interval was a proxy for, which ones a reading could replace, and which ones a regulation fixes.
How it works
Step one, paste: one line per item, as asset, task and interval, a CMMS export with a header row in any column order, or plain log lines. Intervals can be written as words, numbers with units such as 500 hours or 10,000 km, or dates. A line the converter cannot read is kept as written and marked for a person. Step two, convert: the converter assigns every task a type from its catalogue of 108, spread over eight asset classes. For each you get the measurable condition to monitor, the reading that proves the check happened, how it is observed, and a verdict of convertible, partly or statutory. Unknown tasks are marked unrecognised with four questions. Step three, file: the register lists what is overdue, done with no reading, without an asset, duplicated or missing a failure mode, with the relevant ISO 55001 and ISO 45001 clause and acceptable evidence beside each.
What it does not do
It does not connect to sensors or your CMMS, and it never rules on you. It states each obligation in the publisher's words, cited to its clause, and it does not remove statutory intervals.
Data handling
Parsing and classification run in your browser. Nothing is sent until you choose to save, and saving asks only for an email link.
How it compares
Instead of instrumenting assets first, you start from the schedule and learn where a reading would add value, which helps target any later investment in monitoring. The task type dictionary is published in full, so every verdict can be checked.
Pricing
The free plan lets you try up to 15 items per run with no account. The Solo plan costs USD 29 a month for one person. The Team plan costs USD 99 a month for your whole organisation.
