# Agent Register

Agent Register serves security managers, SOC leads, IT risk leads and AI governance leads who are asked for an inventory of the AI agents, copilots and integrations used across the organisation.

The problem
AI tools arrive by many routes: personal accounts, browser extensions, connectors added by a department, model APIs used by developers. Security platforms that discover AI traffic need to sit in the network first. Meanwhile, the people who use the tools can name them, and an admin export of OAuth grants lists most of the rest. What is missing is the column that says what each tool can do on its own and who answers for it.

How it works
Step one: list each tool, agent or integration on its own line, as a name alone, or with the department, or with what it connects to. CSV and TSV exports with a header row are accepted. Step two: each name is looked up in a published dictionary. The register records its autonomy level, from read-only through to acting without approval, the systems it can touch out of the box, whether a person reviews its output, and whether data travels outside your tenant. An owner is attached and the row is labelled clear, control or unregistered. Step three: each finding points to the matching clauses of ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act, quoted, with accepted evidence and the gap auditors see most.

What it does not do
It does not monitor traffic or discover tools you have not listed, and it never rules on you. Obligations are stated in the publisher's own words and cited to their clause; where a text is not held in full, the obligation is named but not stated.

Data handling
Classification runs in your browser against the published dictionary, and nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to save. Saving uses an email link, with no password.

How it compares
Network-based AI security tools find traffic you may not know about but take time to deploy. Agent Register gives you a usable register from what is already known, which is often the first thing an assessor asks for and a sound base for any later tooling.
