> Gemploy is an HR management system for small and medium-sized companies in Germany that want to move their personnel administration out of spreadsheets and email threads into a single web-based tool.

Core functions:
Personnel files: Each employee record holds master data, contracts and documents, and employees can update their own details.
Time and attendance: Staff clock in and out from a computer or phone, and the system tracks target hours, actual hours and overtime balances.
Leave management: Holiday and absence requests are submitted and approved online, with public holidays set per German federal state and a shared calendar for team planning.
Document management: Folders carry their own access rights and retention periods, and batch uploads such as monthly payslips are matched to the right employees automatically.
Payroll preparation: Payroll-relevant data is exported for external payroll providers or tax advisors, including DATEV.

Data is hosted in Germany, encrypted and protected by role-based permissions and change logs, in line with GDPR. Gemploy is free for companies with up to 9 employees and costs €5 per employee per month from 10 employees. It is currently available only to companies based in Germany.
