> Hive Inspect is home inspection software for solo home inspectors, part-time inspectors and multi-inspector firms in the United States. It covers the whole job in one account: online booking from the inspector's website, agreements with e-signature, the inspection itself in the iPhone, iPad and Android app, the finished report, payment, and follow-up emails and texts.

The mobile app works without signal, so photos, video and comments can be captured in crawl spaces and basements and sync later. Reports are built from the inspector's own templates and comment library, and the Template Hub includes Florida 4-point, wind mitigation, NPMA-33 and Texas TREC forms. Buyers and agents receive an interactive web report, a PDF and a defects summary, and agents can build a repair request from the report in their own portal.

AI tools are included on every plan. Smart Add finds the matching comment in the inspector's own library from a short description, AI Comment Assist drafts a new comment only when none fits, AI Comment Merge combines related defects, and Context Layer explains to buyers how common each defect is and how involved the repair usually is. The inspector reviews every comment before the report is published.

Pricing is $99 a month or $999 a year per inspector, with no per-report fees, and new accounts start with 5 free reports. The Hive team moves templates and contacts from the previous software at no charge and offers support 7 days a week.

> **Pros**: Hive Inspect has more than met my expectations. After using a couple of other home inspection softwares over the years Hive has been a breath of fresh air. The ease of formating everything from my back-end operations to the client facing report has taken the stress of "running" my business and allowed me to focus on the client experience. The AI functions; Context Layer, being able to merge observations to streamline the report, and the ability to train it to write in my style have been invaluable for improving my inspection writing for the client. Driving the software from inspectors requests and feedback has been outstanding - you ask for it, you get it\!
