Loyal Clear Company User
We really enjoy using ClearCompany. We currently use it for our recruiting processes and peformance management and it's been working well!
Pros
Easy for applicants and employees to use. Easy to navigate. Automates a lot of our processes that used to be manual. Support staff is always available for questions or troubleshooting
Cons
There tends to be bugs occassionally (but I believe that's the case with most software so it's not uncommon).

It was good. We had some issues from time to time with the program in regards to reporting, and the onboarding capabilities

Applicant tracking made easy with Clear Company
Overall, we’ve had great success with ClearCompany. The platform is very user-friendly, which allows our team to seamlessly use the application without significant training. The platform also has plenty of integrations with other applications, including Slack and Microsoft Teams, so our team can conveniently access important information. These integrations have allowed our team to use the system more effectively.
Pros
ClearCompany integrates all our applicants into one place. We can now easily email and text applicants. If you’re looking for a system that helps you organize and communicate with all of your applicants, I recommend trying ClearCompany.
Cons
The reporting is subpar and you would be better off with a different applicant tracking system. Clear company does not block an applicant from applying to a position multiple times, leading to a lot of clutter in the system that you might find unnecessary or confusing.

ClearCompany is a key to our Talent Management!
I really enjoy using this platform, and I login to it daily. It is easy to use and is always improving. There are even places you can customize your view (like in the candidate tearsheet) and I have found that useful! I also enjoy all the feature updates in their quarterly roundup videos.
Pros
I really enjoy the thoroughness of the ClearCo platform, the ease of implementation, our account and support teams, and the ease of use. I am definitely a power user of this platform in my company and I think it is really easy to follow along with a candidacy. We had a superb implementation team that addressed all of our concerns and helped with some items after. Since implementation we've reached out with many questions and enhancement requests to see what could be improved in the system - and while not everything changed, they were heard. I enjoy using this platform both as a Talent Management System and internally to track our org wide goals, personal goals, and the performance platform.
Cons
As with any software, there are bugs from time to time. A few times my support requests didn't make it through, and some integrations we wanted couldn't be made. However, our account team has been available to talk through many ideas and the platform is always improving.

Good ATS for companies averaging < 15 open jobs
Prior to implementing ClearCompany in April of 2017, we did not have any sort of candidate management software. We were eager to find a software to help us organize as we were consistently recruiting for at least 15 open jobs at all times. ClearCompany's product helped our teams organize hiring efforts and streamline processes all while allowing Hiring Managers the ability to stay connected and engaged with the process. Through daily use of the system we were able to better understand and identify a list of performance features we needed from an ATS to ensure our team's success.
After about a year of use, our recruiting volume had nearly doubled and our need for task management and automation features increased. Adding in frustrations of daily system issues and the amount of outstanding tickets left unresolved for months on end, we started to demo other systems. Ultimately, we selected another ATS that better fit our growing needs and concerns.
Pros
Absolutely loved the way the candidate pipeline was broken down and organized with customization options for both interview stages and workflow within a specific interview stage.
Customization abilities for just about every feature within the system allows any company to tailor the system to fit their specific or unique process.
Offer letter creation and offer process was extremely seamless and easy to use. Could generate and send offer letter for approval and then to candidate for signature in seconds and without the use of a 3rd party DocuSign type system.
The ability to rate candidates A, B, C or X was helpful in keeping a visual rating of candidates within your pipeline.
Integration and set-up was an easy process, however, training and resources could use some improvement.
Dashboard layout was easy to navigate and access.
Cons
ClearCompany was a glitchy system; we were consistently submitting support tickets for re-occurring issues with common features that slowed or required us to create a workaround within the hiring process. Customer Support would usually have to escalate issues to their development team and it would be months before we had an update or a resolution. Customer Support teams and Account Managers could use some improvement on communication and also follow through on actionable items they said they would deliver on.
New product features were usually released before proper bug testing was done creating usability concerns and an abundance of support tickets. They also usually came with very little training or lack or good resources leaving the user confused and overwhelmed on how to utilize these great new features.
Reporting was extremely limited. Some of the most basic and general recruiting metrics could not be produced through reports and had to be either manually tracked or data had to be manipulated. There were a few times where we found discrepancies on specific job reports vs. the data tracked on the job req's dashboard.
Interview Scorecards were extremely confusing, hard to access/change/set-up quickly and not user friendly once they were set up.
Lack of automation and key features in comparison to other ATS systems within the same price point.

Pleasant Surprise
Pleasantly surprise. This is my first time using it and I am already recommending it to other colleagues in the industry.
Pros
The efficiency of being able to do onboarding all electronically which means they don't have to spend the time to drive to the hotel just to fill out a piece of paper before they start their job. I also like how easy it is to keep track of candidates as they move down the pipeline in the hiring process, how you can text and email them right from the website, etc.
Cons
Nothing. I went through the onboarding process myself and now I am onboarding other associates, and I think the site is great!!!

Solid ATS And Great Return On Our Investment!
We've had a great experience with Clear Company. For us, our needs are pretty simple: we need to quickly post, attract, and hire candidates. Clear Company has consistently allowed us to do that.
Pros
Really user friendly with a lot of features. Very easy to post positions, access candidate profiles, and run reports. Customer service and ongoing webinars are excellent as well.
Cons
Not too much, we looked at several other ATSs when re-evaluating whether to continue with Clear Company, and none of the other products would have provided us any improvement or added value based on what our needs are.

Excellent ATS System With Great Functionaltiy
Overall I've been really impressed with this ATS system. I'd never used it before, and it is a very robust system with a lot of features. It was easy to learn, and it's easy to make minor changes to templates and forms when needed. The customer support is better than what I've experienced with other ATS systems.
Pros
It is easy to learn, has many features, and allows you to easily track applicants. We also use it to send offer letters, initiate onboarding activities, and schedule interviews. There are many features in one platform, and it is straightforward to learn how to use the features. We have a dedicated account manager whom we can contact when we have to escalate issues, and they also have an online chat feature with customer service.
Cons
Sometimes the reporting is not consistent with results after you run a query, and the applications sometimes get submitted in different formats based on the method the applicant uses to apply. Also, sometimes the customer service team doesn't give a complete answer to your question.

ClearCompany Software Review
We have setup a Performance Review process, that captures and maintains performance review data for our staff in one place. We conduct reviews 3 times per year. The workflow saves an incredible amount of time and the reviews are part of our Bonus program, so with a simple download, we are able to facilitate bonus calculations within hours rather than days.
Pros
We use this software to manage our Performance Review process. We are able to structure the reviews how we would like to see them, and use the workflow to channel the review from the initial reviewer to 2nd and 3rd level approvers. We plan to use the 360 review process in the future. Overall, the process within the application works very well.
Cons
I'd suggest that reporting could be improved. I'd like the ability to download any data element from ClearCompany, not just the canned reports, and massage it in a spreadsheet.

I highly recommend ClearCompany
I have found the ClearCompany recruiting and onboarding modules very helpful and easy to use. Coming from our previous manual system, they have saved me a great deal of time. The best thing about ClearCompany, though, is their excellent customer service. When I need help, I can call and get real help from someone who actually works there, usually my account manager, not someone in a call center somewhere reading from a script. They are always very quick to address whatever concern I have. We are an energy company with over 200 employees in several states. Having an efficient, online onboarding process has streamlined HR's workflow, and being able to sort and categorize the thousands of applications we receive each year has saved us a great deal of time, and has eliminated the bottleneck we used to have in distributing resumes to the relevant department managers.

1. I'd like to see an integrated, easy way to sort applicants on our side. We get a huge number of applicants seeking all sorts of jobs we aren't advertising. We have two "General Consideration" requisitions set up to keep people from applying inappropriately for jobs that require special qualifications. I have not found the Talent Pool feature to be useful in sorting these candidates, so I set up many unposted requisitions that I forward those candidates into, based on what type of job they may be considered for in the future. This clogs up our requisition list, and takes extra time. It would be nice to have an assortment of buckets for these applicants that is seperate from the live requisitions, and with some automation as in the talent pool feature. For instance, they could be automatically sorted based on an answer to a screening question.
2. Also, it can take a while to get new forms built, or old ones changed. Sometimes they fix one piece on a form, and something else stops working. I would like for them to test the forms thoroughly to make sure they work before giving them to us. We have also had trouble printing some of the forms, because they aren't designed to be printed.

Great Applicant Tracking and Recruiting Platform
It has been a wonderful experience and the platform is easy to use and effective.
Pros
Along with being a wonderful tool for recruiting, setting up and customizing ClearCo is very easy. The background setup allows you to customize everything you would ever want, including email templates, knockout question scoring, etc.
Cons
The reporting in ClearCo is lacking as it isn't user friendly and hard to find very basic measures. Another pain point is that the ScoreCard and Interview Guide do not populate in the same order, so there is some legwork when preparing for an interview. It isn't a ton of legwork, but it is annoying.

Applicant Tracking System- poised to be great- needs to get past good
As a new user of ClearCompany I was initially very excited. As you open the dashboard the interface is clean and well laid out, the candidate and req screens are easy to navigate for a novice to an expert. They have a cool function where you can leave a note on a candidate or req with the @ sign and share immediately with other users via a push to their email-- WHAT??? So cool. Really.
They've recently added text, which is a great function- except that your number is blocked to the candidate and vice versa. I am sure this is for security, but it makes it confusing when text convos are on-going. A small price to pay for text function, but it's there.
My main concern with this program- thus far- is that their reporting is reportedly in development- and you can use the "old reporting" or the "new reporting"- this is confusing in of itself- not to mention the list of reports is daunting and confusing in the use of interchangeable language that does quite hit the mark.
Overall I give this product a thumbs up for the total package. I don't pay for this package- but if I did, I would push harder on development team to get it together and come out with updates and fixes a tad faster. We're all busy.

I enjoy working with Clear Company. They make one aspect of recruiting easy.
Pros
I love the chat feature. Anytime we need to learn something we can simply go to the chat feature and you get the help you need. You will also get an email with the transcript so you can go back if you need to reference this again. It is very user-friendly. You can set up multiple offer letters to fit the needs of the organization.
Cons
I wish there were a few more free job boards to post your positions on. I would like to see E-verify added as a feature with the onboarding.

ClearCompany HRM Review
All in all this has been a pretty good product for our organization. We were able to streamline our req approval process through the ATS and on top of that the reporting system is super robust. The reqs that you open can be automatically pushed to the larger job boards and on top of that you can set up knockout questions for candidates when they submit their application through the ATS. Our company will be transitioning out of ClearCompany to an HRIS but if we did not make the jump to the new system it is very liekly we would have re-upped with ClearCompany.
Pros
Candidate score card and marking system are pretty unique and different. You can set up triggers that parse the resume and pre-rank the candidates based on what is in there to sync up with your job qualifications...makes sourcing super easy. Candidate review process is pretty nice as well, you can 1 click push the candidate to the hiring managers for review.
Cons
Honestly, Their customer support is less than ideal. I think we cycled through 3 different reps on our account and we haven't even been with them for 2 years. That being said, it comes with the territory...we have had a couple ATS's and it always seems that is the case once you on-board as a client.

Wonderful product and services

Clear Company makes my job easy!
We are able to track and follow through with our candidates and manage the recruiting process. I've also discovered that I have extra time to explore the endless possibilities it has for screening and testing. the scorecards and interview question templates have helped me delegate the interviewing process to the hiring managers so that they can manage their own screening process easily and boost their confidence in the recruiting process.
Pros
The recruiting process is seamless and intuitive. As I new user I was able to understand and use the features it provides with incredible ease. Once I became comfortable with the software I was able to optimize my recruiting efforts. As an example, we filled 10 positions in one week.
Cons
The software allows us to transfer candidates to our PEO system, Paylocity. Both systems have their own performance evaluation systems, but this does not transfer from one system to the other. Perhaps if the performance evaluations were the same in both systems it could reduce double work.

Solid ATS system that is easy to use.
Good experience so far. Overall really like the features that are offered from the software. We use Clearcompany primarily for our applicant tracking.
Pros
Easy to use, good user interface, grading feature, notes sections, can tag managers and share profiles directly to their emails, good pipeline management, excellent customer service, good template feature.
Cons
Notes don't transfer to new application for candidate, no notifications on actions from managers.
