> duely is AML/CTF compliance software for Australian accounting firms, conveyancers, law firms and real estate agencies. Tranche 2 obligations started on 1 July 2026, and duely runs the whole set of them in one system: the AML/CTF program, customer due diligence, risk, reporting, reviews and record keeping.

You start by building your AML/CTF program in a guided builder with a template for your sector. Each approved version is kept, so you can show what your policies said on any date.

Each customer is onboarded once, and their due diligence carries across every engagement. Individuals verify through a hosted link with document capture, liveness and face match. An optional DVS check against the issuing agency costs $8 per document. Every customer is screened against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists. For companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs, duely verifies the entity and maps its ownership and control, calculating beneficial owners at the 25% threshold, and verifies and screens each of them.

Work is organised by engagement. An engagement records its designated services and every party involved, such as each buyer and seller in a sale. The risk questions follow the services selected, and each customer on the engagement receives their own rating. The engagement goes to the AMLCO or a senior manager for approval before work starts. Where the AML/CTF Rules require senior manager approval, for example for a politically exposed person, duely routes it to the senior manager named in your program. A high rating or a sanctions match opens enhanced due diligence, with source of funds and source of wealth recorded.

Ongoing due diligence is risk-based. Customers are re-reviewed on a schedule set by their risk rating, and also when a new designated service is requested, screening finds a new match or a program change affects them. A daily check flags a customer whose identity document has expired while an engagement is open.

Staff raise unusual activity with the AMLCO through an unusual activity report, and the AMLCO decides whether a suspicious matter report is needed. duely calculates the deadline (24 hours for terrorism financing, 3 business days otherwise) and exports the SMR as AUSTRAC SMR 3.0 XML, validated against the AUSTRAC schema. Law firms get a legal professional privilege assessment that sets the correct filing path. SMR data is visible to the AMLCO only, which supports the tipping-off obligations under section 123. TTRs export as AUSTRAC TTR XML, with IFTI and cross-border movement registers. Your firm lodges the files with AUSTRAC Online.

Escalations go to the AMLCO, and the person who raised one is told whether they can proceed, without the reasons.

duely tracks when program obligations fall due and gives you the tools to complete them. Effectiveness checks run quarterly by default. The AMLCO's report to the governing body is due every 12 months, and program reviews and the independent evaluation are due at least every 3 years. Each appears on the compliance calendar with reminders until it is done. Staff training is assigned and tracked.

Reliance works in both directions. You can request a customer's due diligence from another reporting entity and record a refusal on file. Other entities can request due diligence from your firm, and nothing is released until the customer and your firm have both approved. The requester pays a $2 plus GST service charge.

Each engagement has an evidence pack showing every decision, its reason, who approved it and when. Packs are versioned and hashed with SHA-256, and actions are kept in an append-only audit log with 7-year retention. Hosting and primary storage are in Australia.

Pricing is one plan at $59 a month plus GST, with 3 users and 30 customers a year included. Identity verification and screening are included under a fair-usage policy. Each additional customer is $3 a month and each additional user is $9 a month. Billed monthly, cancel any time.
