# Paradoxon Assistant

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.uk/software/674336/Paradoxon-Assistant

> Who it is for

Paradoxon Assistant is for the owner of an independent repair shop who is still writing orders on paper or holding them in a spreadsheet, and who wants the counter to run without a monthly subscription. Computer, phone and electronics repair; appliance and beauty-equipment repair. Typically one counter, an owner who also repairs, and one to a handful of technicians, often serving customers in both English and Spanish.

Who it is not for: a retail store. Assistant charges parts and labor at the repair counter and prints the receipt, but it keeps no stock control and no store inventory. If the plan is to sell products off a shelf, this is the wrong tool and it is better to know that now.

Where it comes from

Assistant was born inside a repair shop in Fort Lauderdale, and the person who writes it repairs equipment every week and uses the same build to charge for his own work. That is unusual, and it shows in small places: the intake starts with the phone number because that is what a customer says first, the buttons are sized for a finger on a counter screen, and the printed ticket carries what a shop really needs to hand over.

What a day looks like

A customer walks in. You type the phone number and Assistant formats it and recognizes them, or saves them with one confirmation. You add the equipment — make, model, serial, color and a photo — then the repair, the labor and the price. You print the ticket with its barcode, QR code and warranty date. From there the order moves through received, in progress, on hold, finished and delivered, and each change sends the customer an SMS or an email on its own. Open orders shows what is live; history holds everything, with filters and reprints.

Ask the shop with the assistant you already use

The AI assistant is your own: Paradoxon does not include one and does not sell one. What Assistant gives you is the door. Paradoxon Server can answer your assistant directly: what is open right now, what got finished last week, what this customer has brought in before, whether a notification actually went out. You ask in plain language and the answer comes from your own database, on your own machine.

It only reads. Your assistant can look and report, but never write, cancel or change an order, because the write access was deliberately taken out. It ships turned off, you switch it on from Settings when you want it, and it needs a token and a network you allow.

What makes it different

It runs locally on Windows and keeps working without internet — your records sit in a database on your own computer. It is fully bilingual, in the app and on the ticket. And it is licensed per shop: adding technicians does not change what you pay, and when an annual license expires the program keeps working, you simply stop receiving new versions.

Trying it and getting help

The trial runs 14 days of actual use — days you open it, not days on the calendar — and asks for no card. Support is by email through paradoxonllc.com, with documentation and a knowledge base; Paradoxon LLC is a small Florida company, so the person answering knows the product. Annual license $699, one-time lifetime license $1,999.

## About the vendor

- **Company**: Paradoxon, LLC

## Commercial Context

- **Pricing model**: Flat Rate (Free Trial)
- **Pricing Details**: Paradoxon Assistant is licensed per shop, not per user. Adding technicians does not change the price.

Free trial — 14 days of actual use, no credit card. The count moves on the days you open the program, not on the calendar, so a slow week does not spend your trial. This is a trial, not a free edition: there is no permanently free version.

Annual license — $699 per year. Includes every new version released while it is active.

Lifetime license — $1,999, one time. Includes new versions for the life of the product.

When an annual license expires, Assistant does not shut down and does not lock your data. Everything already in it keeps working exactly as before; what stops is the delivery of new versions. That is deliberate: the orders and customers are yours and they sit on your own computer.

Prices are in US dollars and are published at paradoxonllc.com.
- **Target Audience**: Self Employed, 2–10
- **Deployment & Platforms**: Windows (Desktop), Windows (On-Premise)
- **Supported Languages**: English, Spanish
- **Available Countries**: United States
