# Comment Generator

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.uk/software/623590/Comment-Generator

> Comment Generator is a Chrome browser extension that helps social media users, content creators, digital marketers, and social media managers draft context-aware comments on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads. Developers can also access its capabilities through a REST API for third-party integrations.

The extension reads each post's caption before generating a draft, so comments are specific to that post rather than generic. Users can choose from multiple commenting styles, including agreeing, disagreeing, adding an insight, or sharing an experience. LinkedIn users get additional controls over comment length, tone, and the option to append a question or closing signature. A voice customization setting lets users describe their personal or brand writing style so drafts match their preferred tone.

All drafts require manual review before posting, and the tool does not require access to social media login credentials. Multilingual support covers 35-plus languages with automatic language detection.

Comment Generator is web-based, running as a browser overlay installed from the Chrome Web Store. It suits individuals and teams of any size engaged in regular social media activity. A free 7-day trial requires no credit card, with paid plans starting at $4.99 per month. Support options are not specified by the vendor.
