> Eleyed is a document redaction tool designed to detect and remove personal information from text and PDF files. It is used by professionals in fields such as law, human resources, healthcare, finance, and research to securely share documents containing sensitive information. The software is suitable for handling contracts, employee records, patient files, financial statements, and research data by removing identifying details before external sharing.

The platform identifies various types of personal information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, identification numbers, financial data, health-related information, and payment card details. It processes native PDFs, scanned documents, photographed pages saved as PDFs, and plain text files. All operations are performed on the platform’s servers without relying on external AI services. Processing occurs entirely in memory, ensuring that documents are not written to disk. Users can define custom terms and patterns to expand detection capabilities, and redaction tasks are completed quickly.

The software follows a zero data retention policy, ensuring that submitted content is only stored during processing and leaves no logs, backups, or traces afterward. Analytics are self-hosted and do not use cookies, eliminating the need for consent banners. Payment transactions are managed through Stripe, with only essential details such as credit amounts and transaction outcomes recorded. An API is available for developers to integrate redaction functionality into workflows or handle large-scale document processing.
