> StoreVault backs up a Shopify store automatically from the moment it is installed. Products and collections are captured as they change, pages and articles within 15 minutes, themes once a day. Every version is kept, from 7 days of history on the free plan up to 365 days on the top plan. Inventory is captured on paid plans, up to four times a day.
Restoring is deliberate. You pick a moment, and the app shows the exact list of what would change before anything is written. The state of every item is saved right before it is overwritten, so a restore can be rolled back afterwards. Stock levels are the exception: they are reported before and after, and set back by hand.
The backup is tested for you: stored copies are re-read and checked against a sample of live records, and the result is emailed either way. Nothing is written to your store during that test.
The limits are published, not buried. Orders and customers are archived and exportable, never restored in place.

Prices are flat by catalogue size and are not metered by order volume, so a busy month does not change the bill. Every paid plan is billed through Shopify, so charges appear on the regular Shopify invoice, in US dollars. Access to what is already backed up does not depend on the plan: if you downgrade or stop paying, stored copies stay readable and exportable.
