> If your people work at your customers' sites rather than in your own office, you have two problems at once: proving the hours, and proving the work. ShiftScan was built for exactly that gap.&#10;&#10;Your team clocks in by tapping an NFC tag at the site, scanning a QR code, entering a PIN or using a fixed terminal. Nothing has to be installed on their phone, which matters when you hire seasonal staff or people who do not want a work app on a private device. If there is no signal in a basement or on a new-build site, clocking still works offline and syncs the moment the phone reconnects.&#10;&#10;What makes ShiftScan different from a standard time clock is what happens next. Patrols, cleanings, gritting runs and job checklists are captured with photos, GPS position and a cryptographic hash chain, so nothing can be edited after the fact. When a client calls to say the site was not serviced on Tuesday, you send a record they cannot argue with. Your clients can also follow the work themselves in their own read-only portal, which removes most of those calls before they happen.&#10;&#10;Around that core you get the day-to-day administration: shift and duty scheduling, leave and absence requests, time accounts and flexitime, working-time compliance checks, digital staff records and qualifications, keys and equipment, vehicles and mileage logs, expenses with receipt scanning, client invoicing with e-invoicing formats, and payroll export to DATEV, Lexware and STotax. On higher plans the whole platform runs under your own brand and domain, with industry modules, a careers page with an applicant pipeline, lone worker protection and a real-time control room.&#10;&#10;Getting started is meant to be self-service. A guided setup assistant walks you through your first site, your first tag and your first employee, and an in-product help assistant answers questions where you are working. Support runs by email and chat, and you can report a problem straight from the product with a screenshot and follow its status; Business customers get priority handling. The help centre covers 74 topics in detail.&#10;&#10;ShiftScan is hosted in Germany, is GDPR compliant, and the interface is available in 17 languages, which helps if your crews are international.
