# easo

Who it is for: the operations lead, plant manager or owner who has been handed ISO 9001 because a customer demands it, and who has to make it work alongside a full-time job. easo assumes no prior quality-management training and no Git expertise.

What it does: document control, review and release, internal audits, corrective and preventive actions and the management review sit in one place. The result is a handbook ordinary staff actually read, not a folder nobody opens. A readiness view shows honestly what is still missing before an audit, and a built-in 30-chapter ISO 9001 book explains what each requirement means and what counts as evidence.

What makes it different: your documents stay in your organisation's own Git repository — your infrastructure, your ownership, open formats, no vendor lock-in. Releases are cryptographically signed and independently verifiable, with a tamper-evident revision history, and PDF/A exports carry a verification annex an auditor can check without easo installed. Existing documents can be imported unchanged and signed from then on, so adopting easo is not a rewriting project.

Pricing and support: the Solo plan is free permanently for one person, locally — there is no separate trial, because the free version is the trial. The paid Team plan is one flat price per company with every user included, readers and authors alike; there is no per-seat charge. Support is by email, in English and German. Available for macOS and Windows.

easo supports preparation for certification. The certificate itself is issued by an accredited body — no software can replace or guarantee it.

Corrective actions follow ISO 9001 clause 10.2: raised from a released audit finding or on their own, releasable at every stage, feeding the management review, and easo refuses to close a case until its effectiveness has been verified (10.2 d). Most tools let you close a corrective action by clicking "closed".
Nothing is ever deleted: released versions are immutable, superseded documents stay in the register, and every old version verifies from its own signed record. Retention without limit, revision-safe in the GoBD sense. There is no purge function, by design.

Team — one flat price for the whole company, regardless of size: EUR 139 per month, or EUR 1,390 per year, which is two monthly payments cheaper. Every user is included, readers and authors alike. There is no per-seat charge, and the colleagues who only need to read the handbook cost nothing. In Switzerland the same plans are CHF 129 per month and CHF 1,290 per year.

All prices are net, plus VAT where applicable.

Every plan contains the same functionality: document control with versioning, the review and release workflow, cryptographically signed releases, PDF/A export with a verification annex, the internal audit programme, corrective and preventive actions, the management review, the readiness view against ISO 9001, and the built-in 30-chapter ISO 9001 knowledge book. Nothing is held back for a higher tier — the difference between Solo and Team is how many people work in it.
