# Girocapi

> Girocapi replaces the paper tickets and mental notes that most laundries still run on. Every garment is tracked from the moment it crosses the counter to the moment the customer walks out with it, so nobody has to turn around and ask "where is that coat?"

The workflow

The board mirrors the five stages a garment already goes through in the shop: Received, Awaiting Processing, In Production, Ready, and Delivered. Staff drag an order from one column to the next, and reverse a mistake just as fast. Urgent orders carry a red border; unpaid orders carry a yellow marker. One screen stays open all day and answers the only question the shop floor keeps asking.

Counter intake

Taking garments in requires four things: customer, garment count, service, and pickup date. It takes under a minute. A customer who has never been in before is added inline, without leaving the screen or opening a separate contacts page.

Labels

QR labels print from the same page as intake, onto a label roll or plain A4 paper. Scanning a label with any phone camera opens that order directly, so a garment separated from its ticket is never anonymous.

Customer notification

When an order reaches Ready, the customer is emailed automatically, provided they left an address and gave explicit consent. The message goes out a few minutes after the status change rather than instantly: if the wrong order was marked ready, correcting it within that window means no email is ever sent. One less phone call for the shop, one less wasted trip for the customer.

Archive

Orders stay searchable indefinitely by customer name, order number, or date, including oyment status is tracked alongside, so the unpaid ones are always one filter away.

Configuration

Item names, services, and prices are defined by the shop, using the words actually spoken at the counter. Each staff member gets their own login; the owner controls who has access. Every order records who took it in.

Specifications

Girocapi runs in the browser: no installation, no hardware to place in the shop, no update to launch. It works on a desktop, a counter tablet, or a phone, with controls that grow larger on smaller screens and orders that scroll under a finger. An internet connection is required. There is nothing to configure on the client side beyond logging in.

Security and data protection

Customer data is held on servers inside the European Union, over connections that are en is isolated: a laundry sees only its own orders and its own customers, never anothertenant's. Access is per user, controlled by the owner. Backups run nightly, are verified, and are retained for two weeks. A strict content security policy is enforced, and the application loads no external scripts and no CDN dependencies. A ready-to-use privacy notice for the shop to hand to its own customers is included.

Integrations

Girocapi has no third-party integrations and no public API. It is designed to replace th the middle of an existing software stack, and it requires nothing else to be installed or connected in order to work.
