> cipherφ7 is an in-house operating system for hospitality venues. One system replaces the stack a venue usually rents from ten vendors — point of sale, reservations and table management, memberships and loyalty, inventory, staff scheduling, back office, and the public storefront — and it runs locally in the venue, so the floor keeps ringing through an internet outage. The point of sale runs on hardened Linux kiosk terminals that boot into the POS and nothing else — not an Android or tablet app, no app store, no third-party apps on the device that rings sales. Orders, cash, printing, and reports keep working when the connection drops; card processing picks back up with the connection. Every capability is native — one login, one vendor, one bill. Rotating QR member check-in, self-updating event pricing, agreements e-signed by SMS, inventory counts at the terminal. cipher installs, patches, and secures the whole stack. Now rolling out through a founding cohort of Southeast venues.
