Workers clock in and out from their phones in one tap, and start or end a break the same way. Every hour is tagged to a job and task, so you know your real labor cost per job. Geofenced worksites let you set a radius around each job site and block clock-ins from outside it for the crews you choose, which acts as a strong deterrent against off-site punches. Clock-ins work offline and sync when the crew is back in signal, so a shift in a dead zone still lands on the timesheet. Location is captured only at clock-in, never tracked in the background. Crews that share one device can punch with a PIN on a tablet kiosk, with an optional clock-in photo.

Managers run the company from the web dashboard at app.getclox.com: review timesheets, approve the week, handle correction requests, set schedules, and manage time off. Overtime (weekly and California daily), lunch deductions, break rules, and multi-rate pay calculate automatically. At the end of the week Clox turns the hours into a payroll-ready file for QuickBooks Online (CSV plus an optional live sync), QuickBooks Desktop (IIF), ADP RUN, ADP Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, Gusto, or a universal CSV, so there is no re-keying.

Every punch is signed and hash-chained, which makes the record tamper-evident. Anyone can check a record at getclox.com/verify and confirm it has not been changed since capture, and managers can export a Proof of Presence PDF to hand to a client or an auditor. This proves the record is intact after capture. It does not claim to prove that a GPS location was truthful.
