Church Presenter is worship presentation software for Windows, macOS and Linux that replaces the usual stack of five programs with one. Songs, scripture, PowerPoint and Keynote decks, video, images, web pages, animated lower thirds, live captions and congregation Q\&A all run from a single service schedule — so there's less to alt-tab between on Sunday morning, and less to go wrong. It's released under the GNU GPL v3: no subscription, no per-seat fees, no feature tiers, and no renewal that can strand you mid-season. Install it on the booth machine, the overflow room, the youth building and the volunteer's laptop at home.

Songs and lyrics. Organize an unlimited library across as many songbooks as you need, indexed straight from a folder. Find anything fast with contains, starts-with, exact-match and phrase search plus category and songbook filters. Edit songs in the built-in editor, run bilingual worship with two languages side-by-side or stacked, and give the band a look-ahead view of the current and next section so transitions stay smooth. Your existing library comes with you — Church Presenter imports OpenLyrics, SongPro and ChurchPresenter formats and ships with a converter.

Bible and scripture. Put any verse from all 66 books on screen in seconds, with dual translations, multi-verse ranges, whole-Bible search, recall history and a built-in Strong's Hebrew and Greek dictionary. Connect a speech-to-text feed and the app listens for spoken references — stated outright or simply the next verse in a passage being read — then stages or goes live with the match on its own, tiered by confidence so only clear matches jump straight to the screen.

Slides and presentations. Present .pptx, .ppt, .key and .pdf files natively, with no Microsoft or Apple software installed. Entrance, emphasis and exit animations, per-paragraph text builds, click-step sequencing, motion paths and slide transitions all play back live — not as flattened images. Speaker notes flow straight to the stage monitor.

Media, graphics and canvas. Run image slideshows with crossfade and auto-advance, play local files or network streams with full transport control and audio device selection, and display animated Lottie lower thirds with reusable text presets and a built-in generator. The canvas compositor layers images, text, video, shapes, gradients, clocks, QR codes, live cameras, screen capture, web pages and Bible verses into a mini production switcher inside the app.

Captions, announcements and audience Q\&A. Caption services in real time from a speech-to-text server, with live translation shown as transcription, translation or both. Post on-screen announcements and countdown timers with custom colors and animations. Let the congregation submit questions by QR code, then approve, sort, queue and vote before anything reaches the screen.

Projection and output. Drive as many outputs as you have displays, plus every Blackmagic DeckLink/SDI device — no artificial limit. Choose full-screen or lower-third framing per content type, set solid, image, video, gradient or transparent backgrounds, and send separate fill and key for hardware keying. A transparent, OBS-ready browser source gives the stream team true alpha overlays with no scene-switching integration required. Search Pexels and Pixabay for backgrounds without leaving the app, and let auto-fit typography keep text on screen. A live preview always shows exactly what the audience sees.

Give the platform its own confidence screen — current and next slide, clock, countdown, section labels and presenter notes — in vertical, horizontal or quadrant layouts.
