While incidents can happen, the communication and response process did not meet expectations. We were only informed several months later, in March, which created concerns around transparency and timely disclosure. Additionally, it took a considerable amount of time for the Qapita team to share details of their investigation, the resolution measures implemented, and the information that was reportedly found on the dark web. More proactive and timely communication during and after the incident would have helped build greater trust and confidence in the platform. > > Overall, our experience with Qapita has been positive. The platform provides good value for money and has helped simplify ESOP management processes. The customer support team has consistently been responsive, helpful, and willing to address queries in a timely manner. Support for exercise window has also been good, but can be improved. Require a more proactive communication and actions before window opening, vesting period. The QC team can improve their effectiveness in reviewing the emp data refresh activities and vesting data updates as per ESOP plan of Hexaware. The handling of the security incident from October 2025 was a significant concern. The delay in notifying customers and the extended time taken to share investigation findings, remediation actions, and details of the data found on the dark web impacted our confidence in the platform. While we appreciate the eventual communication and resolution efforts, more transparent and timely updates during such incidents would have strengthened trust. Our SPOC has been extremely hands-on, responsive, and proactive in addressing issues at the earliest. Even when an immediate resolution is not possible, the team comes back with practical and workable alternatives, which has been very helpful. > > **Cons**: There were some areas where we had to go through a few rounds of back-and-forth, particularly while trying to configure certain workflows and align Qapita with our HRMS processes. There were also a few specific workflows that were not possible to configure exactly as we initially envisioned, particularly around keeping the exercise window open and the associated messaging and workflow requirements.
