> Stratum is a native statistics and data-visualization application for Mac and Windows, built for analysts who want serious statistical tools in a fast desktop app — without notebooks, scripting, or the cloud. Everything runs locally, so your data never leaves your machine.

Getting data in is simple. Stratum imports CSV and Excel files through a guided wizard that infers column types, handles messy real-world files, and works comfortably with datasets of up to 5 million rows. A formula engine with 100+ functions handles filtering, sorting, reshaping, and derived columns, so you can prepare and clean data without leaving the app.

Visualization is a core strength. Stratum offers 30+ chart types — histograms, box and violin plots, scatter and bubble charts, bar and Pareto charts, pie, mosaic, heatmap, treemap, contour, trend, parallel-coordinate, slopegraph, dumbbell, dot, Q-Q, density, and ECDF. Every chart has a full editor for titles, axes, colors, scales, and annotations, so a quick exploratory plot can become a presentation-ready figure in a few clicks.

The statistical toolset is broad and rigorous. It covers descriptive statistics, correlation, contingency tables, one-way and two-way ANOVA, MANOVA, two-sample and paired comparisons, and linear regression. For advanced work, Stratum adds principal component analysis, clustering, and statistical process control — the full Shewhart control-chart family plus CUSUM and EWMA. Machine learning includes decision trees, random forests, and boosted trees, giving you predictive modeling alongside classical inference in one tool.

Every analysis and chart exports to PDF, Excel, image, or clipboard, so results move easily into reports and presentations. In-app help is available in 10 languages, and the interface is fully localized.
