The core idea: your duty roster should do the paperwork for you. Once shifts are planned, Darkbird automatically generates gross payroll (including night, Sunday and holiday surcharges and the collectively agreed wage rates of the German security industry, per federal state) and customer invoices with verifiable proof of service — from the same data, with no double entry. Owners see at any moment whether a contract is actually profitable.

Day-to-day operations are covered by the tools the industry runs on: a guard tour system with NFC checkpoints and a live map, a digital guard logbook with tamper-proof entries, GPS time tracking with geofencing (clock-in only works on site), shift-start checks that flag no-shows immediately, a lone-worker dead man's switch with an automatic alarm chain, alarm/monitoring-center processing, mobile patrol routes, and key management. Payroll data exports to DATEV, Agenda and Addison; customer invoices to Lexoffice.
