What is metered, and what happens at the cap A page view is one request from a hosted embed on your site. The counter resets on a rolling 30-day cycle. If a free or Pro account passes its cap, we do not bill an overage and we do not invoice you later. The hosted embed simply stops serving until the counter resets or you upgrade, so a surprise bill is not possible. Business, Scale and Enterprise have no page view cap at all.
