Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.uk/software/552785/Ncored

> Ncored is a PDF editor designed to handle large CAD drawings efficiently. It is tailored for professionals in architecture, engineering, and construction who work with heavy PDF files generated from software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, and SketchUp. The application is compatible with Windows and macOS, offering optimized performance on both platforms. The interface is available in English and German.

The software includes measurement tools for calculating lengths, polylines, and areas, with options for unit customization and scale calibration. A revision comparison feature highlights changes between drawing versions, using different colors to indicate additions, removals, and unchanged elements. The markup tools include freehand drawing, highlights, text notes, shapes, revision clouds, comment pins, and custom stamps. Annotations are saved in standard PDF format for compatibility with other PDF software. Text within CAD drawings can be edited directly, and a search function allows users to locate text across multi-page documents. Additional features include PDF compression, JPEG-based flattening with adjustable DPI settings, and printing with automatic page size adjustment.

The software processes all files locally on the user’s device without relying on external servers or cloud storage. It operates offline after activation, requiring an internet connection only for occasional license verification. It supports PDFs of various sizes, including files exceeding 200 MB, while maintaining smooth performance during panning, zooming, and scrolling.
