It generates lease liability schedules, right-of-use asset schedules, depreciation schedules, and journal entries to support lease accounting workflows. It is intended for accountants, auditors, finance teams, and sole practitioners who require IFRS 16 and AASB 16 compliant outputs without relying on complex spreadsheets. The tool addresses the requirements introduced by IFRS 16, which replaced IAS 17, standardizing the recognition of lease liabilities and assets on lessee balance sheets.

The calculator supports various lease accounting scenarios, including multiple CPI or indexation events with prospective remeasurement, reassessment paths for term or payment changes, and specific lease modifications. These modifications include standalone consideration changes, scope decreases with proportional derecognition, and scope increases within the same lease. It handles commencement adjustments such as rent-free periods, fixed lease incentives, initial direct costs, and restoration amounts. Calculations are performed server-side using inputs such as discount rates, lease terms, and payment structures. The system converts annual rates to monthly rates and produces detailed liability roll-forwards, including opening balances, interest charges, payments, and closing balances.

The platform offers Excel export functionality, packaging schedules and journal entries into a multi-sheet workbook. The export includes audit summaries, checks, exceptions, control registers, metadata, scenario trace tabs, and reconciliation sheets to support review processes. Documentation is provided to explain payment timing, present value calculations, right-of-use adjustments, journal structures, and CPI date alignment. The tool operates entirely through a web browser and does not require installation, signup, or the use of spreadsheet formulas.
