Built for Microsoft Teams, it helps colleagues stay connected and collaborate naturally throughout the workday, wherever they are. Stay connected while you work Most employees spend their day in Word, Excel, Outlook, or other applications. The BeZoned Sidebar stays visible beside their work, showing colleagues at their shared table, who is available, and who is speaking. Need a quick answer? Click the Sidebar microphone and talk. Everyone at the same table can hear and join in, except colleagues with Do Not Disturb status. No meeting invitation, ringing call, or chat reply to wait for. A simple question can become a useful team conversation in seconds, just as it would in a physical office. Know who's available – automatically BeZoned shows whether colleagues are Available, Busy, Away, or on Do Not Disturb. Tables and rooms can have preset statuses that update automatically when someone moves between them. For example, joining a Team Table can show Available; a Focus Table sets Do Not Disturb; an Away Table signals Away; and a Meeting Room shows Busy. Before joining a table, employees can see its preset status by hovering over it. BeZoned also uses availability information from Microsoft Teams and Outlook. This makes it easier to reach colleagues at the right moment and respect their focus time without repeatedly asking if they're free. From quick questions to real collaboration Shared tables support everyday conversations, idea sharing, and problem solving. If a discussion needs more time, colleagues can move into a meeting room and click Join Meeting to start a Microsoft Teams meeting. Others can join the same room to share screens, review documents, or work together on a whiteboard. Social spaces support coffee breaks and informal conversations too, helping colleagues stay included and build stronger relationships across locations. The benefits of a virtual office – without a virtual world BeZoned is not a game-like world where employees need to navigate avatars throughout the day. Most of the time they simply work in their familiar applications with the small Sidebar nearby. When needed, they can open the BeZoned office to find colleagues, select a table, or enter a meeting room. Integrated with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, Outlook, Whiteboard, and Planner, BeZoned adds shared presence and spontaneous collaboration to the tools employees already use. What I miss is the ability to just "crash in" and have a talk. We are a little work group of 4 members on different geographical locations, who have started using BeZoned - and what a change\! It does feel like sharing a physical office. No more checking calendars or worrying about disturbing someone before making a call. That ease of contact allowed us to simply "lean over the desk" and pitch ideas to one another, completely forgetting the physical distance.
