# Document Generator – Automation of HR documents & electronic signatures

> Document Generator is designed for HR teams using SAP SuccessFactors that spend too much time copying employee information into contracts, amendments, salary statements and other recurring documents.

Instead of preparing every document manually, HR maintains familiar Microsoft Word templates connected to employee, job, company and country data. An authorised user can create a document for one employee, include generation in an automated HR scenario or prepare personalised documents in bulk for a selected employee population.

Bulk filters can use Job Information and Personal Information, helping HR prepare documents for a particular company, country, organisational unit, job assignment or other employee group. Existing SAP SuccessFactors permissions determine which employees and information each user is allowed to access.

Generated documents can remain editable in DOCX format or be converted to PDF. Depending on the organisation’s process, they can be sent by email, stored in Microsoft SharePoint or Google Drive, or transferred directly to an electronic signature platform. Supported signature integrations include DocuSign, Evrotrust, Signi, Signosoft and SOFA.

Document Generator can support multiple companies, legal entities, document types and language variants. Selected documents can also be made available through employee self-service.
