> InterBase and Firebird Data Access Components (IBDAC) is a library of components that provides native connectivity to InterBase and Firebird databases from Delphi, C++Builder and Lazarus. IBDAC is a cross-platform solution that supports development on Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android and FreeBSD for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. It is compatible with various IDEs including RAD Studio, Delphi, C++Builder, Lazarus and Free Pascal.

IBDAC offers wide coverage of InterBase and Firebird features, including support for Blobs and Arrays, Unicode character data and events. It provides advanced functionality such as Unicode support, event handling, streaming BLOB, advanced BLOB handling, server security configuration, bulk data loading, array handling, server parameter configuration and advanced generator. IBDAC is designed for high-performance, lightweight data access layers, utilizing advanced data access algorithms and optimization techniques.

The product facilitates mobile development, allowing iOS and Android mobile applications to work with InterBase databases as easily as desktop applications. It also provides a simple and flexible Data Type Mapping engine for custom correspondence between InterBase and Delphi data types. Additionally, IBDAC includes a freeware dbMonitor tool for monitoring and analyzing DB calls made by applications using the components.
