Perfect solution for gated communities and residential projects

The myGate app ensures complete safety and security if you live in a colony. The app can be customized to add many features as per colony management. The possibilities are endless.

Pros

1. The best part of myGate is that no stranger can enter your colony without permission, including maids, drivers, helpers, workers, visitors, etc.
2. There is a facility to pre-approve someone or add auto approvals for pre-decided criteria. For regular visitors like drivers or daily help, you can get the details entered in the app. You can even include their snaps and phone numbers.
3. The community section provides valuable information on residents, emergency numbers, notice boards, local directory, etc.
4. You can also pay utility bills mapped on the app – like electricity, water, rent, maintenance, prepaid meter, etc.
5. All community members can lodge complaints within the app and start public discussions.
6. Several services are a click away. All you have to do is search for available services in your locality.
7. The app lets you add details of family members and vehicles for automatic entry and exit approvals.
8. In case of unapproved visitors, the app reminds with app notification, reminder, phone call, or security guard intervention.
9. With the Quick Action menu, you can comfortably use frequent activities on the app.
10. You can update your profile to let other members know more about you.

Cons

1. When management is not active, many features remain unused.
2. Your genuine visitors may face inconvenience if you make mistakes in approvals, leading to awkward situations.
3. Security may allow unwanted visitors without approval if the instructions are unclear.
4. If you do not have access to your app, you may be locked out, especially in large colonies.
5. The system may be ineffective in controlling unwanted guests if the colony does not have an intercom infrastructure.

One of the best solutions for secure and hassle-free living

My overall experience with MyGate has been excellent. It’s an all-round app that has made community living more secure and convenient. The visitor management features are incredibly helpful, and I no longer have to deal with constant calls from delivery agents or security.

Pros

MyGate has really made our lives much more simpler and much more safer. Entry approval is one of the most important features in a gated community and MyGate ticks all the boxes.

Cons

The thing I dislike about MyGate is the occasional glitches or delays in notifications, which can be a bit frustrating.

Gateway to safety and convenience

It's a good tool to know what and who is coming to your doorstep when you live in a big society or appartments.

Pros

Easy to use and convenient. Gives quick notification and keeps user up-to-date

Perfect companion for every housing society

Three societies in three cities where I lived have used the app and it was just perfect! Most of the use cases for internal management were covered.

Pros

The security at the gate would send in a request if the person is allowed to enter was a game changer to keep unwanted people outside like salesman etc.

Cons

Paying maintenance though the app adds a little fee while a bank transfer doesn't add any fee. Credit Card payment was the most painful one! I can't blame them as credit card processing companies add that fee and they are just passing on.

Single app for apartment management and security

Good app for apartment security and safety as you can make customisations as per your need

Pros

Single point app for every security detail around your apartment complex or community. You can manage funds, seek help, secure gate pass if you need for visitors, engage in community discussions, etc.

Cons

Sometimes the excessive paid ads are annoying. It is easy to assume that a notification is a security issue when it is actually an ad.

User-friendly Society Management App

Pros

I think they have thought through every single thing that revolves around a society/apartment. From gate pass, security system to managing funds. daily help and group discussions everything is packed in a single app.

Cons

Ads. Not sure if the paid app also has ad notifications popping up once in a while. But it shows up against my Flat number which can be confused to be a security notification.

Keeping our gates safe"MYGATE"

Great app for all the gated societies and buildings.

Pros

The sense of security the app gives is tremendous and very admirable.

Cons

The app has a few bugs that have a small delay between a request raised and the request reflected after being raised.Since its been used by the security the app should also have a simpler UI/UX

Useful Security and Community management app

Pros

MyGate is a useful Security and Community management app. This app serves residential community or housing estate needs. It allows authorising the entry of delivery executives/guests, exploring and availing variety services, keeping the community up-to-date with latest happenings and notices, managing Rent and Utility Payments.

Cons

Based on my usage and needs; I haven't experienced any issues so far.
