- They have separate Bill.com accounts for each country. Meaning that you will need to create separate accounts in order to receive the payment in Canada and US. A lot of Canadians have cross border US bank accounts, which are not supported here. You will be charged wire-transfer fee when you are receiving the payments to your Canadian accounts. Basically, the sender will be charged a fee and also the receiver will be charged with wire-transfer fee.

If you love paying the fees, then this might be a great product for you. Otherwise, use Veem.com, I have been using their services for 3 years, never had any issues. I wish that my current employer was using Veem as well.

Pros

Bill.com has been electronic payments so much easier for our organization. We work with a lot of young folks, and cashing checks is no fun. Our staff, volunteers, and vendors appreciate the ease of an electronic payment so much.

The software is expensive, as they charge a flat rate + fees for each transaction. So if you have a high volume of transactions, the monthly invoice adds up quickly. I

They've made it simple to keep track of open invoices and due dates with reminders.

Cons

Other platforms allow you to pay on invoices with a CC, via ACH free of fees/charges. If Bill.com would eliminate its fees for using CCs, I see 5 stars in its future.
