That me one specifically used was called Plato. It’s a Learning Management System with content already built into it. On the administrative side, all you have to do is identify your Lerner's customize the training for them, simply pull-up from content available to you. Unlike other LMSs that require you using their content authoring tool, Plate within Edmentum does all the work for you so you can focus on needs assessment and evaluation. There is a good messenger built that allows you to communicate with your learners. The content that is readily available to you as an administrator doesn’t really go passed higher school level so this system is great for adults who have specific needs and need them addressed. Let's start with the fact that the mastery tests are 10 times harder than the practice questions. Many of the mastery questions are worded so confusingly or just try to trick students into picking a wrong answer. Also, there is too much reading and not enough interactivity in the lessons. My middle and high school students WILL not read through 30 pages of text. Plus in math, a video would be SO much more helpful than 10 pages of text. This is one of the worst online learning platforms I have ever used. I wish I could just go back to Khan Academy\! It's free, kids like it and they learn more, faster. > > To be honest, I am not impressed with the program.
