Heavy on the Tech Light on the Service
The onboarding process is not user friendly and requires technical expertise. It did not play well with other applications and the onboarding success team takes over a week to respond. If you have in house IT staff then you should consider it as it is feature rich and scalable, but it can get expensive quickly. They have no easy way to pay your bill and Support took 3 weeks to figure out why I could not access the online billing portal and in the interim I received threating demand e-mails from them daily. The billing portal is straight out of 1980 and hasn't been updated since. The setting options can be intimidating as again the system is feature rich. We have spent a significant amount of time and paid for a SuiteApp to connect SAP Concur to NetSuite so we are using it, but I would not recommend SAP Concur to any small or medium size business. We started with QB and then migrated to NetSuite with Concur and it is one of the most painful experiences of my professional career.

SAP Concur is a feature rich web based application with lots of name recognition. It is a legacy application so there are lots of experienced users. The reviews I read online are not an indication of my experience so I thought I would share my honest personal experience.
Cons
THIS IS A SELF SERVICE APPLICATION WITH LIMITED SUPPORT. The native QB connector for QB desktop enterprise is worthless with little to no support from Concur. Our onboarding specialist final recommendation after 2 months was to just use it manually without the QB financial connector. The admin platform is clunky and not intuitive. We have had multiple issues with items not working and the support has only been able to resolve 1 issue after 3 weeks of trying. You are better off using the forums and support groups outside of SAP Concur to resolve your issues.

Great tool to manage work expenses and book travel.
Overall a good system to use and manage expenses. The system is very user friendly and the whole process is seamless.
Pros
The best thing about SAP Concur is that it is very easy to use and to manage the expenses and reimbursement purpose. Once the card is linked to the system, it auto captures all the receipts and categorize them for easy expense filing.

Great product for expense management, travel and accounting
A great product, easy to use for expense reimbursement and expense management, for storing the receipts/invoices and for accounting.
Pros
SAP Concur has a simple and easy to use interface for end users. It is very easy to create an expense report and submit it for reimbursement, it takes all the data from the receipt itself, no need to input manually.

Gladly Concur With SAP CONCUR
I have used the software for over three years and each year the software develops new and innovative ways to make expense tracking and expense reports simpler, and more time efficient. The software guide you through what to plug-in for each category and provides tips and hints in order to get your expense reports submitted and approved swiftly.
Pros
The software keeps all expense and receipts, perfectly tracked and accessible. The software integration allows for auto-filling information for each expense, which takes the majority of the brain work away from completing all expense reports. It also allows for bringing more time back into your daily schedule.

I would certainly recommend to any company. Regardless if they use expense, the travel tool is very helpful to help save on travel expense. From air to hotels and car rentals in between.

Makes travelers abode buy rules. If a traveler is out of policy they need to have reason. Depending on companies rules travel will be approved on not. It really depends on what companies wants to enforce.

I use SAP Concur almost weekly and find it efficient and easy to use. From going back years to when users were taping receipts to paper and uploading, to having the ability easily attach receipts via your mobile devise is fantastic.
Pros
Ease of use on both mobile and desktop applications. The softwares ability to sync with Credit Card providers and receipt tracking has made business travelers expense report creation and submittal much easier.

Not Worth The Cost
My overall experience was not great. Though it has nice features, it seemed to limit quite a bit of customization. This could have been from how things were originally setup with the companies file prior to my working with it, but I can't say for sure.
Pros
Our field users did not have a hard time logging into SAP Concur.
Cons
It wasn't easy for us to update our own information in SAP Concur without it de-syncing the export. There were also extra fields that users had to select N/A for on many transactions. Adding extra clicks and time, which lowered employees ambitions in completing their expenses.
