Constant Contact is really fabulous for email marketing--we use it for all our opted in...
We set up a landing page with a form fill, ad traffic to the landing page. Constant contact handled email and responses for all of the opted in addresses, and kept the leads warm while we developed them. Excellent deliverability, easy to use, just a first class software.
Pros
I'm pretty familiar with email software, having used four different options extensively. Constant contact was the slickest interface, the most intuitive programming, and all of the features I wanted, without being too expensive or difficult to use.
Cons
I have nothing but good things to say about constant contact. If I had to find a thing I like least, it would be the confusion between campaigns and programming.

Constant improvements for Constant Contact!
Pricing might be competitive, but as a developer, it's not quite a nice experience integrating the email client. Specially when you are a developer trying to integrate it to your website. More in particular Elementor Pro integration. Hoping they already have reconciled this issue.
Pros
Just like any other email marketing tool, they can do the job. No complaints. Email creation for fast email campaign is a breeze. Templates are as well handfuls to choose from. Drag and drop features as well. And it seems that they have much more responsive email system compared to other clients.
Besides, you can use there service for user registration, A/B Testing and surveys.
Cons
First off, Constant Contact can do the job. No Problem. The problem comes when you deep dive into there system - technically taxing, not so user friendly interface, hard to implement branding etc...
Bugs, of course. When you drag a widget, it won't appear on the canvass. Exporting HTML version of the email is also a pain.

Constant Contact Review
Constant Contact was the most convenient to use compared to many other software options.
Pros
It's more affordable than other marketing software and offers great value for the money. I appreciate the stable and easy-to-use email templates, which allow for simple drag-and-drop functionality across the platform. It also offers a variety of features, such as contact management, scheduling, and tools for increasing social media followers, all of which have been very helpful in running my business.
Cons
A bug that causes issues in Outlook is a downside, and it's unfortunate that scheduling for Pinterest isn't available.
Response from Constant Contact

Constant Contact: Easy to use, but on the basic side
For a simple newsletter that needs to be maintained by those not looking for a bunch of bells and whistles, this can work. If you want to be more creative, have more testing ability, or desire some unique automation capabilities it's best to look elsewhere.
Pros
It's easy to use, even for those that aren't super tech savvy. There is a wealth of templates to choose from. I liked that it has segmentation that is easy to figure out. Also the email deliverability rates are really good.
Cons
Unfortunately is can get pricey if you grow your audience. Automation isn't where it needs to be to be really useful, which is a big deal now. Also missing is the ability to A/B test robustly (since you can only do subject lines right now).
Response from Constant Contact
Hi Ricki! Thank you for the review. We would love to know more about the features you're looking for, such as what A/B testing features you're looking for, or unique automation capabilities you feel the product is lacking. Please feel free to send an email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your account username, any additional feedback you have, and a reference to this review. Thank you!

Our small team works easier with Constant Contact!
Pros
We have a small team with no designated marketing department, yet all staff feel comfortable using, scheduling and analyzing using constant Contact's tools.
Cons
It can take some time to learn how to use segments and lists effectively, a training guide would be helpful.
