IRISPowerscan™ offers a single solution to address any of those: it supports most popular scanners (Canon®, Kodak, Fujitsu®, etc.); documents can be captured via an MFP and imported automatically using IRISPowerscan™’s watched folder feature; it can even import documents from Cloud services such as Box, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint. Powerful image adjustment tools help improve the quality of images by adjusting, contrast and brightness straightening skewed scans, removing unwanted pixels, splitting or merging images, and many more.

IRISPowerscan™ is able to scan any document type, transportation documents. Of course, different documents require specific processing; for instance, the indexes required from a transport document are not the same as the ones you need from an invoice. This is why once documents have been scanned or imported, the first step is to determine their type so they can be processed accordingly. IRISPowerscan™ uses a variety of techniques to perform automatic classification of your incoming documents, such as barcodes, patch codes, OCR/ICR zones, and more. IRISPowerscan™ even features a powerful layout recognition technology known as IRISFingerprint™, which is able to learn the appearance of your various documents and perform identification without the need for text, labels, barcodes or any other conventional method.


Now that documents have been identified, IRISPowerscan™ proceeds to extract the key information you need from them. A variety of recognition technologies are used to address any type of index you need: OCR, ICR, barcodes, patch codes, and more. For instance, a contract might contain information such as company names, contract number, signatory names, amounts, and more. IRISPowerscan™ uses powerful verification technologies to make sure the information captured on your input documents is 100% reliable before it is exported to your systems.
