Engaging the Future Made Easy
Uncommon Giving has truly had a significant impact on our team, and we cannot speak highly enough of their product, support, and people. Their approach to corporate giving and volunteering sets a new standard of excellence for our community!
Pros
One of the key benefits of using Uncommon Giving is how easy it is for our admins to create volunteer events for our employees and how easy it is for them to use the tool to volunteer their time! Within minutes, we can create an event that brings everyone together for a worthy cause. This tool is truly remarkable and demonstrates a tangible impact on the communities we live in.
Cons
While I cannot think of any drawbacks, we eagerly anticipate the release of additional features and functions from Uncommon Giving. So far all of our suggested improvements have been quickly implemented!

Uncommon Giving makes corporate giving a breeze
Our CSM is always there to help us navigate any issue we're having! Everyone at the company is committed to helping organizations increase their impact.
Pros
The platform is very straightforward and user friendly. Our org donates a LOT more now that we have Uncommon Giving to help us out.
Cons
I'd love some more sophisticated insights! For example, you can't look at your stats from previous years, only the current year. I also wish our dashboard included stats like which causes are most popular among employees and things like that.

Uncommon Giving platform - highly recommended!!
My wife and I use our account at Uncommon Common to do nearly all of our giving to the nonprofits we care about. We love our personalized Uncommon Giving landing page where we see the Generosity Feed of all the charities we support. It’s such a great giving experience…fast, simple, streamlined. For some nonprofits, we’ve set up recurring donations which is very convenient. My previous employer signed up for workplace giving which allowed me to make payroll deductions automatically into my giving account. While we give to just 1 or 2 dozen charities, we can research virtually any IRS approved 501c3. At the end of the year, we simply go to our Uncommon Giving account to download a summary of our giving for the year....all of our giving from a single account! We love the cause-based giving accounts that can be created and workplace companies would do more of this. Overall, Uncommon Giving is an awesome way to do your generosity…5 Stars, Uncommon!
Pros
UG is super easy to make a donation to fund my DAF account. From there, I search from over a million IRS approved nonprofits to make donations to. Those that I select become my "favorites" and their activity becomes part of my splash page so they are easily tracked. Making donations from my DAF is super easy. Love the entire experience!
Cons
Searching a million nonprofits is a bit clunky.

The coolest, and easiest to use tech for setting aside and giving money and time to NFPs.
I have been funding a wallet and giving through Uncommon Giving for more than 2 years now. I love the fact that when I am asked for help, I have the dollars set aside and can pull out my phone, research the org asking for help, and if I am inclined, I can make a gift right from my mobile device that gets distributed from my personal Donor Advised Fund quickly. This is the coolest employee benefit I have seen in my career.
Pros
It's so easy to make giving time and money to those organization who you align with. It also automates company matching and volunteer reporting. This is one of the biggest innovations in the charitable world in decades!
Cons
There are continuous enhancements to the app. I can't to see what comes out next!

Uncommon Giving has been a big help in fundraising and tracking volunteer hours!
As a nonprofit, we love the Uncommon Giving platform, and it has enhanced our fundraising efforts and engagement with donors. It's incredibly easy to create a profile showcasing our work, mission, and impact. We use the platform to communicate actual data and metrics about our programs and their impact. We receive donations from individual and corporate donors over the Uncommon Giving platform, and we use the platform's analytics tools to track these donations and our donor engagement over time which helps us identify trends and opportunities for improving our overall fundraising efforts!
Pros
We love how Uncommon Giving allows us to use photos and videos to show the real impact of our work. We also love the "Thank You" video functionality.
Cons
We love all aspects of the platform but would like to see some enhancements to the ability to offer team fundraising goals.

A no-brainer for nonprofits and companies!
The platform and team at Uncommon have been great to work with and quickly answer any questions I've had.
Pros
We set up an account with Uncommon Giving for our nonprofit to accept donations from companies through their employee giving capabilities. The platform is very user-friendly and so simple to set up for our organization. It allows us to connect with more companies and employees who have a passion for our mission.
Cons
Uncommon Giving continues to role out new features. I can't wait to see what else they're able to build for companies to mobilize their employees even more to give back in their communities.

Powering an inclusive and engaging corporate generosity program!
Uncommon Giving has been a fantastic partner to us and have done a great job at communicating their roadmap so that we can proactively plan expanding our corporate generosity program.
Pros
Uncommon Giving is an easy to use platform that allows us to deliver on our corporate mission of building a world inspired by giving. Our employees love using it - as soon as we contribute to our employees' accounts, we see an immediate spike in usage with everyone sharing the causes they're contributing too.
Cons
Uncommon Giving is a start up, which means they don't have everything today but they're shipping updates fast and often. We've been able to provide input and are treated like a partner.

A tech finally focused on the right things!
Exceptional.
Pros
Uncommon Giving has solved many of the problems we hear from companies who are vetting CSR technologies. Here are a few examples: 1. Resource restrictions: You don't need a full-time position to manage the program because the technology is so easy and intuitive. 2. Implementation time: It can be implemented overnight 3. Implementation ease: Implementation is SIMPLE, so you and your colleagues aren't burdened with long meetings and decisions.4. Cost: The price makes it accessible to companies of all sizes and industries. 5. Reach: The mobile app makes it easy to employees who don't sit at a computer every day. 6. Clean: Some technologies try and add too many bells and whistles which I'd argue takes away from the user experience. Uncommon Giving prioritized the most important features. 6. The team: The Uncommon Giving team is knowledgeable and truly cares about this work.
Cons
I don't have anything worth noting for this section.

A Culture and Community MUST HAVE
As a remote company, we're always looking for ways to bring the team together to have a positive impact on the community. We implemented biannual volunteer days and hosted community service events but we knew we were missing something. By implementing Uncommon Giving, we've been able to start building out a program for our employees to participate in causes that mean the most to them while having the support from their company. We've found that donations are a high value incentive in our organization, and using Uncommon Giving offers us a way to both reward employees as well as give back to important causes. It is also super helpful to have an easy tool to use for our volunteer events and tracking instead of relying on Google Sheets and Slack messages. All in all, Uncommon Giving has been a great company perk and a great addition to our culture!
Pros
As someone in HR, a lot of my role is juggling different employee facing softwares and tools. Uncommon Giving is by far the easiest People platform I've ever used. The design and user experience is clean and simple.
Cons
I'm not sure I have any "cons", I'm just excited to see how the platform continues to expand and the new features they role out.

So Simple Yet So Rewarding!
Good product, GREAT purpose and even better people to partner with.
Pros
We rolled out Uncommon Giving to our entire company and I love how easy it is to empower generosity. You can quickly find a nonprofit or cause you are passionate about. In just a couple of clicks, you are off and giving!
Cons
I'm sure this is on the roadmap but analytics or metrics that show the social impact a company is having as a result of these contributions.

Employee giving and volunteering - simplified!
Pros
Uncommon Giving so intuitive and easy to use - we were able to launch our program in less than a day. Volunteer events are easy to set up in the platform and employees can sign up right from our program landing page. When employees log their time, they post stories and photos with it, so we can use those to tell our impact story. And the more we tell stories of our impact, the more motivated employees are to participate. And the team loves the digital wallet and giving experience, too.
Cons
No cons in our experience with it thus far

Uncommon Giving facilitates and practices excellence
10/10. Friendly, professional, timely.
Pros
The UG is very accessible and always prepared to assist with any questions we have. In addition, when we identified a capability that mattered to our employees however did not yet exist within the UG platform, their team put their heads together to make it a common feature.
Cons
The only feature that we found was lacking has sense been remedied.

Seamless tool for managing our Employee Engagement Programs
During the Sales Process, they took the time to unpack our current challenges and demonstrate how this solution would help drive employee engagement and retention.
Pros
Provides a database for managing and tracking our Pledge 1% Program across the company. The most valuable feature is time-tracking for volunteer events and the ability to deposit money in an employee's Account so they can fund the charity of their choice.
Cons
Not a negative but would love if it integrated with Slack to communicate positive news across the company.

Great way to increase employee giving
Pros
We've used this platform a number of times since first starting with them a few months ago. It has been a great way to connect certain holidays with philanthropy and with employee giving. It's brought a lot more meaning to a way to engage an employee and has caused me to give additional dollars to nonprofits I've found in their portal outside of these particular days.
Cons
Not any major ones that come to mind for me for now.
