> QuickScan is a document-scanning app designed to help users utilize smartphones as portable scanners. With this application, users can capture, manage, and share documents from smartphones. 

The software allows users to scan physical documents within seconds using phone cameras. The document scanner application implements an advanced image processing mechanism that increases scan quality while correcting perspective distortion so scanned documents look more professional and readable. Moreover, brightness and contrast adjustments can be used during the post-processing of generated scans.

Its optical character recognition (OCR) tool allows converting text scanned into editable text so that a user may just copy/paste information contained in such documents. Users can also utilize annotation tools on the app with the aim to add notes highlights or other markings to the scans.

> **Pros**: Scans funktionieren schnell und gut. Es können PDFs mit Texterkennung (OCR) erzeugt werden. Die Einstellungen sind sinnvoll und ausreichend (z.B. PDF-Abmessungen, Speicherort, nach Export löschen). Mit Live-Text kann man Texte erkennen und kopieren. Die App ist kostenlos, wenn man nach einem Scan einen Werbe-Screen wegdrückt. Wenn das nervt, kann man EUR 3,99 spenden und nutzt die App ohne den Werbescreen.

> **Cons**: Die Scans sind leider etwas unsauber, und zwar entsteht oft ein schwarzer Rand. Das ist nicht dramatisch, stört aber die ansonsten gute Optik.
