You are also sent helpful emails when there is a holiday coming up, so you know to run your payroll early\! I also get emails when an employee's Birthday or Wor-aversary is approaching\! > > **Cons**: I have to say for all my years running payroll, the part I like \*least\* has to be adding a new state to your payroll. This process is going to be a pain no matter what software one uses, but I feel like there could be a more streamlined process in place. Also - I have not tried this in a while, but if you would like to pay a 1099 contractor via direct deposit, and they use a Tax ID number rather than a SS\#, you are going to hit a snag. > > My overall experience with SurePayroll is positive.
