It is used by businesses of all kinds, from restaurants to construction companies. Google Maps allows organization to add markers that appear on their map, as well as pop-up balloons containing information about the marker's location. Users can also customize the appearance of these markers, so they match the brand or logo. Businesses can create routes between multiple locations on their map with Google Maps. With it, you can have a personal assistant that sets your route. In fact, using Apple CarPlay with Gemini makes you hate Apple Maps. I have configured my home, work, and college locations, and I can easily set my route and add stops. > > **Cons**: Still bugging sometimes. And makes your phone raise temperature very fast, but I still like it more than the others. > > I like it, i switch between Apple Maps, Waze and Google Maps, but I prefer Google Maps over the others two ----- ### "A one stop place for planning trips out\!" — 5.0/5 > **Emma** | *23 January 2026* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Google Maps creates mapping routes quickly, with the ability to include multiple stops along your route, providing one seamless set of directions. It is able to update the route you take if you change direction or miss a turning. I use Google Maps for both driving and walking, and locally or aboard. I use the free service which clearly offers great value for money. > > **Cons**: There is not much I do not like about Google Maps, it is possible some other mapping services give more real time information about traffic jams and slow moving areas, but I have not done any in depth comparison. The app works fine on my mobile, and also other mobiles within my family, making it versatile and easy to use, my children also use it with no problems. > > My overall experience with Google Maps is a positive one, making planning journeys and get around new places easy, simple, and convenient. I use it almost daily\! I use it for area mapping, as it is also great for searching for restaurants, things to do, places of interest, etc., which makes it valuable for exploring new places with everything in one app. With Google Maps being so easy to use I have not had the need to use their customer support\! ----- ### "Google maps review" — 5.0/5 > **Megan** | *13 November 2025* | Commercial Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: What i like the most about google maps is how easy it is to get to where im going if i don't know the way and it tells you if there is road work or a object in the road > > **Cons**: I don't think i can say there is anything i least like about google maps i love it been using them for years ----- ### "Effective app" — 4.0/5 > **Mackenzie** | *6 July 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: This application is easy to use and has a clear map that is easy to follow.
