> **Pros**: It is a great platform for small-business inventory, sales, and POs.&#10;&#10;Costing, invoicing, and simple production jobs are all included, which rounds off most of what we need for the business.&#10;&#10;Easy integration to Xero for our accounting.&#10;Easy integration to Shopify for our B2B and B2C sites.

> **Cons**: Generally, the support is quite limited and slow - they have lost all flexibility. Online chat has a limited understanding of the product, and since we have been using it for over 10 years, we tend to know more than they do. &#10;&#10;We stopped using their B2B site and also their POS software. Both were clunky and limited. Found alternatives through Shopify for both.

> We’ve spent the past 8 weeks implementing Cin7 Omni, and while the platform has potential, there were several challenges that hindered our experience.&#10;We are a small organization with a team of just 10 people, and given our size, we couldn’t afford a third-party partner to assist with implementation. We were initially sold on the idea of having an onboarding specialist to guide us through the process. However, the specialist assigned to us, though eager to help, was new to the role. While he made genuine efforts to understand our requirements, his limited experience occasionally slowed down the process. At times, we felt that we weren’t getting the most efficient support and that the company could benefit from assigning a more experienced person to the job.&#10;One of the most frustrating aspects was the system’s tendency to give error messages when navigating between functions. This issue was frequent, and I often had to log out and back in to resolve it—sometimes taking up to 5 minutes to clear.&#10;Another key limitation is the customization of fields. We were disappointed to find that only text-based fields could be created as custom fields, and we didn’t have the ability to make them numerical or include dropdown lists. While we were able to get support for this from Cin7, it required significant persistence and was not a seamless process.&#10;We also ran into issues with the import functionality, particularly with Sales Orders. While the copy-paste feature is convenient, it only allows for importing product and quantity. Unfortunately, we were unable to import custom pricing, which became a major hurdle for large orders (up to 500 lines).&#10;Additionally, we faced challenges with branch management. The system defaults to a "Main Branch," which we requested to be removed and replaced with our actual branch. While Cin7 indicated that this was done, the Main Branch continued to reappear in forms. We later learned that the Main Branch couldn’t be removed, and we would need to re-import our entire inventory to make this change, which was far more time-consuming than expected.&#10;Our Shopify integration also presented challenges, particularly with the click-and-collect feature, which kept syncing to the wrong branch. Despite several attempts to resolve this, the issue persists. As a small team with only one physical store, we can only imagine how complicated things would be with multiple locations.&#10;Lastly, the integration with HubSpot is very limited, syncing only basic contact and product information, which was another disappointment. Similarly, the Shopify-Cin7 sync is restricted to a narrow set of fields. It would have been helpful to have a clearer understanding of what data is actually integrated before committing to the platform.&#10;Overall, while Cin7 Omni has promise, the support process and system limitations made it challenging for us to achieve the smooth, efficient experience we were hoping for. We hope that Cin7 will address these issues to improve the onboarding and functionality for future users.

> **Pros**: Our end goal was to use Shopify.  Cin7 was the inventory management solution that made the most sense.  We could also integrate with Xero and ShipStation.  One transaction flows through the tool the same way, whether I start in POS, Shopify or Cin7 back end.  Makes it seamless for our team to process.  I trust the data.  This is one source of truth.

> **Cons**: We are an apparel wholesaler, so we have learned to look at style-color-size different.  We would like to be able to scan both customer orders and inventory transfers or counts.  That isn't fully enabled yet.

> We started with Cin7 before the pandemic hit.  They have you partnered with someone to help with set up and then when you go live.  We went live April 2020.  I missed having easy access to someone to help us, answer questions, do minor configurations that we saw we needed.  After a few months, we went to premier level.  That was the smartest thing.  We had a direct contact, weekly calls, any tickets or requests were managed timely.  After 6 months or so, "we got it", and have been on our own.  Still send in random support tickets, but I am proud of our whole team that we know how to leverage the tool.

> **Pros**: Cin7 showed a lot of promise early on being able to sync to multiple shopify stores. Interface of the system is user friendly.

> **Cons**: Unfortunately my data including inventory levels and value conti ies to be corrupted. When Iraise these issues with Cim7 support they fix the issue but never share with you what the issue is in the back end. Support is slow and ticketed and often tickets go unresolved.

The core functionality powers our eCommerce operations, inventory management and warehouse. The value delivered is significant and the capability would be hard to replicate with alternative solutions.

> **Cons**: We have intermittent performance / loading issues with the system from time to time that usually resolve themselves within a minute or two and configuring the system correctly can be challenging given the level of flexibility the system has to adapt to your workflows but the support team are there to help guide you if you get stuck. I recently had a great interaction with \[sensitive content hidden\] in the support team when configuring my new Amazon Marketplace connection.

> Overall we love Cin7 and would be lost without the platform. We're mostly happy with the product but it would be great if they could address the intermittent performance issues and improve the help articles so they more clearly articulate what the "best practice" settings are when configuring the software for a typical business.
