> PBS Manufacturing software is designed for small to midsize, make-to-order, engineer-to-order make-to-stock and mixed mode manufacturers. It offers a wide variety of features such as inventory management, managing and tracking orders and costs, shop floor scheduling, material and manpower planning, lot/serial control, EDI, accounting and more. 

PBS Manufacturing is designed to allow you to build the system you need and add on capabilities as needed. The Basic Bundle allows you to manage your manufacturing operations, allowing you to enter and maintain sales, purchase and even shop orders. Inventory Management is the foundation of PBS Manufacturing and is a part of the Basic Bundle. 

Inventory Management feature allows users to maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing details of purchased and manufactured items. It also offers other features like shop order scheduling and shop order material requirements planning (MRP). Lot and serial control tracking features are also optionally available.
Product Definition is another aspect of the Basic Bundle. Product Definition and Costing allows creation and maintenance of bills of material, work centers, and manufacturing routings. Standard/estimated product costs can automatically calculated.Product Definition costing data is used by the system to streamline various tasks including costing, scheduling, and materials/capacity planning.

Customer order processing functionality enables supervisors to handle order management cycle and improve customer service. You can update quotes and sales orders, track order status and item availability and issue invoices to customers. Sales Analysis and history features allows administrators to use pre-printed forms or opt to use the plain paper forms and electronically send quotes, invoices and sales order acknowledgements.

Product purchasing functionality allows teams to enter and maintain information about purchase orders, blanket purchase orders and item sources. Item sources will help streamline the buying decision by allowing you to maintain and view item information specific to each vendor including pricing, vendor item numbers, and conversion ratios for buying in a different unit of measure.

Master scheduling and MRP functionality provides planning functions for sales, production, and material requirements and help improve delivery times, reduces inventory and ensures your operation has what is needed when it is needed. Capacity planning allows manufacturers to plan optimal production based on requirements and plant capacity. The control master bundle works well for the make to order or make to stock manufacturer, or the job shop to improve shop and product cost management.
