It is written in sequel server so you can't change anything is certain areas. If a person leaves the organization you are stuck with their records permanently. The same thing applies to machinery. If you update anything, the old parts are still listed as valid components. > > We have thousands of pieces of equipment ranging from facility related to factory machines. In my previous review I had issues with not being able to delete parts but changes have been made with the software and this is not an issue anymore. I have used another products search tool and it and it does not come close to the ability of maintimizer's. I have seen complaints of to many fields, but this is the best part. You don't need to use all of them to search, often I use just part of one field and can find what I need fast. Just be through when you enter a part, it will pay off later when someone hands you a part with a mangled label. > > **Cons**: No real complaints other than maybe the manual, I'm sure this has been updated from what I have. There is so much that can be done with this software that more detail in the manual would have sped up utilization. My experience with inventory has shown that any problems are usually with the user not with the software.
