Modento features far outperform the competition. Aside from basically having a digital new employee (for a fraction of the cost), the paperless check in, treatment planning, consent forms and voicemail drops are definitely our favorite features so far. There is not a single thing to dislike. > > **Cons**: Initially, integration with Eaglesoft was limited, however I was informed that advanced integration was in process. To text a patient you can't create a new chat you would have to create a whole new person in dentrix or wait for an updated phone number which would take a while. You can't change an email in Dental intelligence you would also have to do that through dentrix and still would take a long time to transfer over, making some situations uncomfortable with the patient waiting for an email. The insurance eligibility does not work on very many company's so we would have to call the insurance even though we pay to have insurance eligibility. > > We are not a fan of Dental intelligence and would not recommend this to any dental office until they have fixed their issues or taken into consideration the issues that offices are having. I’ve contacted their team multiple times regarding problems with my account and explicitly requested that the matter be escalated to a manager. Despite this, my emails have not been returned, and there has been no follow-up or ownership of the issues raised. More concerning is the contract situation. The contract provided to me has a blank renewal period, yet I’m being told it is valid and enforceable. In addition, I’ve been overcharged based on the terms of that same contract. These are not minor discrepancies and should have been straightforward to address if someone had engaged. I’m posting this review because direct communication has failed.
