Great powerful tool

Graphically, it's a bit boring and old-fashioned. It's not the nicest accounting tool around, but it does the job very well. There's loads of space for reports and personalisation.

Pros

Very complete tool for Accounting and reporting, with great personalisation but you need both a consultant and a technician to set it the correct way to ensure you get what you need.

Cons

Graphic wise is a bit boring and old fashioned, not the nicest accounting tool around.

Great ERP solution for our company

In the realm of enterprise resource planning (ERP), SAP Business One stands out as a preferred option for smaller and medium-sized enterprises. SAP Business One is an excellent option for companies for several reasons.

Pros

With one of the greatest systems for in-app modification via user-defined fields, this tiny program covers everything from purchasing to inventory to production to sales to accounting support.

Cons

Smaller companies may balk at the initial expenditure required to implement SAP Business One because of the software's high price tag.

Not for most companies. Great in many ways, horrible in many more.

It is really expensive. The implementation cost will be 10-20x what the initial software cost is. No I am not kidding. The employee labor will be STEEP. It will take years of training and tweaking to get this operating well. I like a lot of this software after 4 years. I have a lot of it badly as well. If you are graduating past Quickbooks, this is an option. But I would probably go another direction like Oracle.
Be careful picking a partner. There are some really bad ones out there. We have been through 2 different partners.
This is not a software for the casual implementer. We watched the largest solar company in the state go out of business trying to launch this software.

Pros

Accounting software and order process is great. Very complex system and very customizable if you are willing to spend endless amounts of money. Great search functions within the system. Authorizations and change log tracking to every document are really great. It is a software for complicated businesses for sure.

Cons

All the SAP "Gold Partners" are awful. Absolutely the worst part. The partners are all dramatically under trained in this ERP. Launching this system is a nightmare. Be ready for years of hell before it dials in. You must have a full team of amazing professionals to launch this. You will need a phenomenal accounting team, computer team, sales team, warehouse team, and management team to survive onboarding this software. If you don't have experts in each position that are really good, this software will drown you. After 4 years we have it pretty dialed in. It still leaves a LOT to be desired. No WMS is a REAL killer for this software.

I would NOT recommend for any company under 40-50 employees. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on apps and add-ons to get it where you need it. SAP B1 will eat your cash like Oscar the grouch and cookies.

NetSuite

Reasons for Choosing SAP Business One

We needed a more powerful system. We outgrew QB and needed better accounting, order management, and inventory management. We trusted the SAP name but don't anymore.

And how this software amazingly is fully integrated, When the accountant create a new customer name or add a new item the customer or item appears in all modules, And the feature of Non-Duplicate data which secure master-data from any duplicated entry.

Cons

SAP Business One is working just great with our business and I didn't face and issue or weak point when I'm using it.

Reasons for Switching to SAP Business One

Solid Business Management Solution for Growing Operations

I've been using SAP BO for about two years and I can say that it's one of the most powerful business management solutions you can have as you expand your operations. We rely on in for inventory, order management, fulfillment, and a lot more. It's very customizable and integrates well with outside tools. All in all, it's definitely driven value for our business.

Pros

I love how customizable SAP products are. Most of the time, with other tools, you're conformed with the boundaries of the product, whereas with SAP, we've been able to customize everything that comes with it to fit our needs, and even set up the product to work in tandem with processes we have that rely on other tools.

Cons

I think the support aspect needs a bit of improvement. We could definitely benefit from having people to help with issues and councel us as to how else we can use the product.

Highly recommend SAP B1

Pros

We found the transition to SAP B1 to be unexpectedly easy. Visual business maps (workflows, relationship maps) helped new users both learn the system initially as well as audit and follow through with order to cash processes long after we had learned the system. SAP B1 (along with OptiPro WMS) allows us to have clear visibility to our inventory throughout our 4-warehouse network, which in turn helps us better manage our purchasing. Lot control is far simpler than with other similar systems. We have room to grow within SAP B1, as we know there are many features we haven't yet implemented. Very happy with the customer support we receive as well.

Cons

We don't find the standard layout for financial reports to align with our needs. While these reports can be customized, the output doesn't export well to Excel. Easy to work around this through a template we created. We feel that if this is our biggest "dislike", the product is pretty much a slam dunk for our business.

i had very good experience

i really loved it all

Pros

I really love the dynamic. Anybody that has the notion that it’s boring clearly hasn’t done any work in software. There’s so much time to spend on figuring out what to do before you actually do any of the work, there’s a lot of fun to be had there. It’s an incredibly creative field where you make translations from business goals and concerns to software designs.

Cons

Honestly, I think that is so stupid and hypocritical. I still do not understand how this is still considered “acceptable "in some Teams. Nothing wrong with asking people for a time estimate, but using that value against them is just nonsense and destructive.

SAP Business One: A comprehensive and scalable platform for business management.

SAP Business One is a highly functional and customizable ERP solution that is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses looking for a scalable and comprehensive platform to manage their business processes. While the platform can be expensive and complex to implement and learn, its real-time features, integration, and scalability make it an excellent choice for growing businesses seeking a complete ERP solution.

Pros

SAP Business One addresses all essential aspects of business management, ranging from financial management to procurement, sales, and inventory management. The platform offers high levels of customization and can be adjusted to suit the specific requirements of the organization. The platform can accommodate the growth of the company, making it unnecessary to switch platforms every time the company expands. It provides real-time information about the financial situation of the company, enabling data-driven decision making and integrates easily with both SAP and non-SAP solutions, allowing it to be used in conjunction with other enterprise software systems.

Cons

For small businesses with financial constraints, SAP Business One may not be a cost-effective solution due to its high pricing. Due to the wide range of functionalities, the platform can be complex to learn and use for novice users. Implementing SAP Business One can be challenging for companies with limited resources as it can take a considerable amount of time and resources. SAP Business One's technical support has been reported to have issues, which some users have found to be slow and inefficient.
