I also appreciated the ease of getting set up with Arketa, there were absolutely no hoops to jump through. > > **Cons**: As a customer, I am not valued at all. They state that they have studio support available on weekends, yet I am never able to get in touch with people. They raised my yearly plan without any notice, and when I requested support, they are not able to provide any proof they they sent notice. They have also made payouts nearly impossible, and have held my money for 2-3 weeks now, with no support given (despite multiple requests) for the payout to be made. At an individual plan, they take 6% of all profits as they pass on the Stripe processing fee and have their own fee. They market themselves as the affordable alternative yet every single option is an up-charge. I have had reoccuring issues where if I enable referral codes for clients, their referral code will pop up with a competitor studio's name within it, which is a real great way to drive traffic to my studio as it just creates confusion about the brands and reminds students about the competitor's studio.
