Pros
YouTube has been a platform where you can watch videos for years. Whenever a video needs to be shared with many subscribers, YouTube comes first. It is easy to use, both privately and professionally.
Cons
Copyright infringement lawsuits and spambots are a big deal on YouTube. Mainly with channels re-uploading TikTok videos and claiming to own them.

YouTube Mentions is a good way to expand your network and get your content noticed by viewers and potential customers.
Pros
YouTube Mentions allows users and organizations to expand their network and grow their audience by associating with similar channels and related content.
Cons
It's very easy to lose your place when reviewing YouTube mentions and comments; instead of loading a comment and a few comments near it in a thread, you need to load every comment in succession. This makes it quite laborious especially when dealing with a thread containing many responses.
