> **Pros**: It's still a great way to book appointment within wordpress. It integrates with my website ui and does the job.

> **Cons**: In the last year I had some major bugs- especiialy with the automated reminders. Some of the clients reported bugs while trying book new appointments and lots of time I had to manually doing client bookings. I can say that the support team really tried to be helpful, but unfortunately I decided to move to another solution. I can add that some major issues that I found important to make the app better weren't part of a major upgrade they did this year, including the ability to use my phone number as the whatsapp tool for the clients (so they will be able to text back).

> **Pros**: What I really like is how polished and configurable it is. The front-end looks professional out of the box, and there’s plenty of flexibility to tailor the booking experience to suit your business rather than forcing you into one rigid layout

> **Cons**: We use Amelia for Events but the default is always Appointments I wish you could  chose to default to Events.

> I’ve reached out to support a number of times (chat and email). They’re not an “instant reply 24/7” service, especially outside weekdays, but when they do respond it’s clear they’ve actually read the question. The answers are thoughtful, they try to solve the problem properly, and when something isn’t part of the product direction they explain the reasoning rather than fobbing you off.&#10;&#10;Because it’s a feature-heavy plugin, I’ve ended up doing a bit of fine-tuning with PHP/CSS (sometimes using AI tools to speed things up). That hasn’t bothered me — in my experience with more advanced software, a little tailoring is normal if you want everything exactly right.&#10;&#10;I also understand from my own time working in software (I spent 18 months at Oracle as an associate software engineer) that complex products always have a backlog, and that new releases can occasionally introduce unexpected issues. What matters is whether the team keeps improving, listens to users, and stands behind the product — and that’s been my experience here.&#10;&#10;Overall, I’m happy to continue using Amelia and I expect it will keep improving over time.

> **Pros**: The price is reasonable compared with some other booking platforms however despite selling the platform like it can handle complex booking solutions it cannot really

> **Cons**: The sell it has a system that can handle complex businesses but it cannot. Great from small companies but the more complex the business the less it works. There is no receptionist / practice manager view. Becomes difficult to use the more branches and more employees you have. The calendar views are not user friendly. Team members cannot see each others appointments UNLESS you give them full admin access to your entire backend of your website.

They have only thought about the platform from a platform perspective and have not thought about the actual use case. You can set up multiple branches and have numerous employees but there is no function for a branch manager view, you cannot look at the calendar and get a full view of the branches appointments for the day.

> **Pros**: Hands down it is their excellent support. While you hope you never need to contact support, it's good to know that when you do you're going to get the help you need. A close second is the calendar \&amp; appointment scheduling experience as it's intuitive and easy to customize.

> **Cons**: I would say the the presentation of the providers and the detailed provider profile view. It's important to note here that these areas are also very customizable and, for most use cases, are likely completely fine. However, we were replacing an existing experience where the presentation of providers, and their detailed profile, was all custom developed and fit into our existing site design perfectly. However, the default experience is still quite good, just wasn't what we needed. This was okay because we decided to leverage their extensive API for keeping our custom presentation while still using the plugin for calendar, scheduling, appointment management, and all of the other excellent features.

They're responsive, patient, and thorough. Even when some of the issue was due to my configuration mistake, they kept pushing to find a solution and wanted to ensure I was successful.
