project management review

it has helped me achieve seamless workflow and task management

Pros

i can create projects for various aspects of your life or work. For example, i might have projects like "Work," "Personal," "Home Improvement," "Fitness," or "Vacation Planning." Each project represents a distinct area of focus.also it helps me add a new task to Todoist, i can assign it to a specific project. This allows me to determine which project the task belongs to. For instance, if i'm planning a work-related presentation, i can assign the task to my "Work" project.

Cons

i have observed sync errors in Todoist, it uses synchronization to ensure that your tasks are consistent across all your devices. Occasionally, you may encounter sync errors that prevent your tasks from updating correctly.

Easy To Use, Not So Easy To Organice

The founder of the company really likes it to keep track of what everyone is doing so I've been using it for the last 5 months (since I started in this company).
But anyway, I actually keep using the Notes App on Mac which is really similar to Todoist but I can keep my tasks private - which is something I wish I could do on Todoist, not sure if there is a way already but it's not very clear who can see what.

Pros

Me and my team really like how easy to use it is.
It helps keeping track of what needs o be done and lets other people know what's been completed.
It doesn't over complicate things and it's really good that you can have it on your phone and get updates on notifications.

Cons

I get that keeping it simple must be the main idea behind this app. However, I'd appreciate if some hierarchy could be applied when organising the tasks.
The way to organise projects on the left part could be, for example, group into folders so once a project is finished you could, for example, move it to an archive folder.

All the Karma points system and the notifications is a bit confusing or just not clear enough. Is it just to cheer you up when you've completed many tasks or has it got any actual purpose?

But the most important: I wish tasks wouldn’t disappear from my inbox right when I complete them.
I wish I could still see them (maybe in a lighter grey colour) so I see what I've completed and then I could manually move them into a project folder when I don't want to see them anymore.

Also, I'd appreciate if some type of colour coding could be applied in some way.

Todoist is one the best task management tools

Great but I now switched to an other tool.

Pros

Todoist is one the best task management tools and the best thing about this tool is the clean design and the fact that they constantly adds new features.

Cons

There are still some features missing like to not have to see later items on some screens.

Straight forward task management

We recommend it to anyone in the business to manage their own workload. This is separate to the task management for projects.

Pros

Having a desktop app that provides an easy to manage task list helps me to stay on top of my workload, with a focus on priority.

Cons

Making notes about the task I’m working on, isn’t great. If it could have a markdown editor, or ability to link to notes stored locally in another Mac based note app like ‘bear’, that would really help.
