Easy payments app for contractors

It helps to create professional invoices and we can add any information to the invoices be it the logo of our company or a note at the end.It helps with managing different clients without any problems and the data is automatically synced across different devices.They also help with onboarding and successful creation of account. It also helps the customer with payments as the customes can easily pay with different methods including credit cards.I would definitely recommend joist to contractors

Its compatibility to use on different devices.It is avaliable on computers,mobile phones(android and ios) which means joist can be used by everyone on any type of device

Sometimes it takes time to review and verify payments which also leads to double payment if we try to do the payment again

Joist supportive invoicing

It's a great starter invoicing software that is helping my small enterprise grow and work efficiently

Pros

I've used Joist for free-lance work and I really like the speed and ease of use the software provides. A quick and easy invoicing solution.

Cons

There have been times when the app is down when I need it. There's a fee for recieving payments, fine for the larger payment but lots of small transactions do add up.

Joise, Easy Contracting!

Everything besides the payment processor is okay.

Pros

I like the non overcrowded dashboard, the simplicity, and how easy it is to use for customers.

Cons

I don’t like there being the only one payment processors connected, Paypal is alright but not my favorite.

Joist for the Win!

Pros

This is my go to invoice app! Easy peasy invoicing app. This app is BEYOND user friendly. Both me and my customers appreciate the fact that the invoice can be paid straight from the invoice. Payments are not delayed, and everyone is happy.

Had to leave joist

very disappointing

good system to use but without customer support very scarry

We had our brake in ....someone change our password in joist and we cannot get it back with 3 month communication joist refuse to give us access to our account we lost 3 weeks off our time somehow get all information backtechnical support could do it 2 click on the buttons ...... unfortunately they give access back to scammersso be careful they will not help you i hope they will sort our problem eventually.... i hope, someone form joist team will read this and respond ASAP

Absolute worse functionality of any APP I've every used!!

As evidenced by my comments above, NOT GREAT :)
What's more, the support team can't understand plan English. I have to repeat my questions and concern to them several times in different ways before they do, only to reply - "Unfortunately, we do not fill-in-the-blank".

That it is available for both desktop and smartphone

Cons

Too many to list. There is hardly one functionality in this App that makes sense or is intuitive. It's hard to navigate, most of my client can't figure out how to sign, change orders are extremely inflexible, I can't automatically insert my signature - instead I have to go to two different platforms to do so. Again I would have to send too much time here to list all the problems.

Great starter platform

Support is not very responsive nor willing to provide real assistance. It's really a shame, because it really could be a dynamite program if they actually listened to customer's needs, and provided stronger functionality. They could even charge more. But they don't seem to care.

Simple and straightforward, although lacking much needed functionality.

Cons

Doesn't provide for a contractor who regularly services companies or multiple locations, just simple contacts with single locations. Support team doesn't work to implement additional features based on user input, not interested. Unfortunate.

Simple To Use But Missing Essential Features

Easy to use, your business will cruise

It’s been my go to software. Use it at least 1-2 hours a day. Great software for specifiers, estimators and Sales.

Pros

Very easy to use, the layout and interface is fantastic. You can integrate quick book with it. Create estimate within a minute and email it to your customer.

Cons

Can’t add photos of an item. You have to add separate as an upload option but not as an individual item

Don’t bother

Was ok however price was too high and wasn’t going to give that much personal information out to use program

Don't Mess with My Money

Do not use this app if you expect to get your payments in a timely manner, despite their "$10,000" limit they will hold funds of much lesser amounts and then dictate what they feel is require on your invoices to get paid. All while holding funds from your fully paid invoices!

Convenience and phone based with a decent layout, hard to compare as I have only used PC based software

Not stand alone, seems developers have contant access to all your transactions and can and will dictate when they will release your funds and how you should fill out your invoices.

Pretty Good App for Invoicing On The Go

Easy product for creating quick invoices and having clients pay securing.

Pros

This software is easy to use and straght forward. It allows you to easily create invoices from your smart phone or tablet on the go, and have a customer put in their credit card information directly, which keeps their information secure.

Cons

There are limits to the type of invoice you can create, and the invoices can only go to one person (the account manager). There is no way to copy another email address (such as accounting) so management can review what is going on directly.

Pros

Professional appearance. The documents made with my customers are official legal binding documents. It saves clients, and line items

Cons

I wish I could set up a saved "notes for customer" section so that I do not have to write up a full contract every time. The headers, and footers are saved.
