Calls always answered and dealt with promptly
Fantastic experience - would be even better to specialise the package for allied health (psychologists, OT, physios etc) professionals
Pros
It covers all the needs for a healthcare SME, and the support is outstanding - there is always a (very pleasant and helpful) human ready to take a call and help
Cons
Would appreciate the package focussing also on other professions specifically eg facilities to add psychometric questionnaires and online completion and scoring; giving patients access to own records etc

Midex Pro review
Excellent service, someone is always on the telephone when you need help, they are helpful and everything I have needed has always been sorted out for me.
Pros
The system is easy to use to find patients and add documents etc. We had a new member of staff start last week and she has said how easy it is to use.
Cons
The diary is difficult due to us having so many diaries and this means that double bookings can happen if lots of people try to book. I think it needs a little looking at to make it smoother for people who see patients in various locations. We have up to 4 hospitals with theatre bookings and clinic bookings. No 2 weeks are ever the same so this does make it a little complicated. Hopefully this can be looked at and made simpler somehow

Easy to use
It's been great. It was a bit aggravating during the changeover that some things about the way the system works were not made clearer, as I fully utilise the system and personalise it. Meant that I had to redo a lot of things but now it's up and running it's not a problem.
Pros
Very easy to use and has lots of easy to use features once you get up and running. Love the bulk payments section.
Cons
When typing, if caps lock on, it doesn't switch round as in word to make initial cap with lower case following. Can't duplicate a GP etc from another so you have to fill in a complete new dataset each time - really annoying. No self completing drop downs for addresses etc

Excellent and an efficient service
I have found MidexPRO to be extremely easy to use, makes my working day more efficient. Consultants are happier as they can access their database wherever they are (working in the NHS, abroad etc). The staff are very helpful and friendly, and will respond to any query in a timely fashion.

It is quick, efficient and easy to use. The staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable
Cons
There is nothing not to like. I wish I had found MidexPRO sooner!

Easy and Efficient
I don't think I have enough words to describe my overall experience. The team have been amazing, [sensitive content hidden] in particular. He helped me set up the account and was very patient with me throughout the process. I admit I wasn't the easiest to communicate with but [sensitive content hidden] followed through! Pros
Well.. MidexPro is very straight forward and easy to use! Once you figure out how to use the system, I promise you, you will stick to it. The part that sold it for me is the team behind MidexPro. They are professional, easy to communicate and contact, efficient, friendly and so much more!
Cons
The log in time out :( its a great security to have in place but for me personally, I wish there was an option to remove the automatic log out system.

Pros
The level of support from the team, they are fantastic. [sensitive content hidden] has helped me so much and no question is ever too much for him. He has helped me right from the start and no question is ever considered silly!
Cons
When typing a letter, I cannot add in another clinician whilst typing, I have to physically type in the addresses for any add ons.

Excellent Fast Customer Service
excellent overall experience...would highly recommend.
Pros
the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable - the system is modern, and fast to use...the staff are extremely responsive, and response times are excellent - they listen to their clients and implement change where possible.
Cons
would like to be able to have multiple consultants to be added to patients file.
also would like that you can change the main screen in coloured fonts to make the screen pop for important information. ....happy to discuss.

Midexpro for med secs
Very positive. The support is generally immediate which is so valuable.
Pros
Speed and ease of use. Accessibility and support.
Cons
The encryption. This is a niche concern probably only relating to letters sent to GPs - they don't like it. A lot of surgeries are advised not to click on a link.

Midexpro
Excellent overall experience and couldn’t run my dermatology practice efficiently without them. Highly recommend.
Pros
The layout and intuitive use is fantastic. It’s easy to use and the new midexTask feature helps organise patient administration such as checking results. We can take online payments easily. Having used more traditional systems in the past this is fantastic in comparison and they are constantly adding new helpful features and always answer the support telephone!
Cons
We had to have an additional account so myself and my secretary could access at the same time.

Excellent Medical Record Management
Pros
It is very user friendly and straight forward to navigate.
Customer Service is excellent. There is always someone at the end of the phone/email
even with the smallest query.
Cons
Slow to load sometimes but I think that is to do with my internet supply!

Great customer support
very good. Feel well supported. Wish I had Midex for all my consultants now and not DGL
Pros
Whenever I have an IT issue - I always look forward to talking to the customer service team - in particular [sensitive content hidden] - he phones me very promptly, has a very pleasant friendly demeanour and very knowlegeable and sorts my IT issue out very fast and efficiently. Compared to some other companies I deal with - where their customer service is bordering on rude and disinterested at best - he is a credit to your company
Cons
nothing. Generally very pleased. For me, it is much better than DGL

Moving from a system I used for 20-years
Having used another system for 20-years that was failing me miserable I was apprehensive about moving. The team at MidexPRO were able to get me up and running very quickly and even when there were issues with the data supplied by my previous software company they were able to resolve them very quickly. The system is excellent and does almost everything I need from practice management software. So many useful things that make life easier, such as postcode lookup, print queueing (sounds minor, but really useful), secure emailing etc - really happy with the new system.
Pros
I love the fact I can access my records from any internet connected system I use through a simple browser without complicated and unecessary authentication. The system is secure, fast and responsive. The support team are excellent and were able to help with my multiple queries after moving from a system I have used for 20-years
Cons
I would like to able to customise the interfdace myself as there are obviously bits that are not relevant to my practice. This is aminor thing and the ability to add and remove fields on the interface would be the icing on the cake

MidexPro as a product has been a very good tool for our growing business. [sensitive content hidden] and his team have been very supportive of our requirements and made changes where possible.
Pros
MidexPro is an intuitive patient management system that is easy to use and easy to train others to use. The team at MidexPro are knowledgeable and flexible, taking into account the growing needs of our company and adapting the product where possible to better fit our needs.
Cons
It can sometimes be difficult to produce bespoke reports .

Great little private practice database!
For me, it did everything I needed it to do and was a pleasure to use.
Pros
I have been using Midex Pro for 15 years initially using the word processing package for the clinic letters and raising the invoices for a busy and successful orthopaedic consultant. I have always found the system very intuitive and easy to use and it flows well. The team at Midex Pro are always on hand to answer queries either by phone or e-mail and they are very open to new ideas and suggestions from the users to improve things. I liked the statement reminder feature which helps keep on top of things well and everything is in one place and very accessible. There are so many features which work very well and probably many more I have never needed to use! I have never had any real issues with it.
Cons
Nothing that springs to mind actually. I might have mentioned it before now if there was :)

EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE
The benefits of Midex Pro are innumerable - not only does this software provide an excellent and efficient practice module but is progressing with additional features on a regular basis and the reason for its efficiency lies with its staff. I cannot speak highly enough of the superb professional support and help provided - their email support service again is excellent - each member of staff I have had the pleasure of dealing with "go above and beyond to assist with any issues" - nothing is too much trouble for them and consequently this makes my job so much easier - they are to be highly commended and recommended
Pros
Having worked with Midex Pro software for the past 10 years - I cannot envisage using any other form of Software in the foreseeable future - its features and its efficiency have steadily progressed over the years and continues to do so- from appointments-invoicing- accounts - document templates - case notes etc - facilities for End of Year Accounts - everything one needs in order to run an efficient and reliable Practice - perfect of both Consultants and secretaries or sole Practitioners
Cons
If I had to pinpoint one area I was disappointed with after the upgrade of Midex Pro and that is the actual layout of the diary which now provides a vertical view of the diary where previously it was horizontal - horizontal view provided sight of the entire clinic day and provided information in an instant - now you have to scroll down the page in order to locate the information which can sometimes be missed

Excellent software
I have been with MidexPro now for some years and they are always very helpful and supportive. Their product is evolving all the time with new features added regularly and overall it makes my life, as a busy secretary, so much easier and more efficient.
Pros
It is exactly what it says on the tin! Easy to use and the support is great. The ebilling facility is particularly great!
Cons
The third party contacts/insurers etc - deleting out of date GPs/contacts/insurers etc could be made a little simpler.

With document deletions, we do appreciate that to delete something is a little long winded.
Those steps were put into place to avoid Users mistakenly deleting documents.
Previously, to restore a 'mistake' involves the Software team searching for the document & restoring and often the urgency of the request means deviation from other work and updates.
However, if you are looking to remove large amounts of out-of-date data, there is a Purge document found on the Navigation bar under 'Legal'.
If you wish to list the data you wish to be removed, and send to Support, we can do this work for you. Support can help with information on what you will need to keep for HMRC reasons and can help with the Purge document as well.

Easy to Use with Great Support
Really user friendly, very rarely 'goes down' and you always are well supported with the team at Midex.
Pros
The team at Midex are always happy to listen to any suggestions, at this point we would like it to have a facility to fully integrate with a new writing device.
The system is very easy to use, having tested a different medical system for a sister practice Midex was the most user friendly by far.
Cons
There are no features that are difficult, if you are unsure the team are always available to help.
We would like to be able to use a writing pad for patient notes that connects directly with the patient's file within Midex and we're hoping that this is something that will be available.

From a retiring administrator of a small association of surgeons in private medical practice
We have had years of dependable, expanding and modernising, secure and obliging service from Midex-Pro and look forward to many more.
Pros
The system is clear and easy to use.
All the details about a specific patient can be access for one page and the information is clearly displayed. Reports of practice usage such as income or out standing invoices are easily accessed, clearly presented and useful for tax returns
Cons
I am so used to the software that I do not really have any issues with it at all.
