CSipSimple also provides users with VoIP Direct, which allows them to make calls to their contacts by dialing a local number when the internet connection is not available.

> **Pros**: Great client app to begin with VoIP without breaking the bank.

It's possible to purchase Codecs to improve call quality.

> **Cons**: Apps like Groundwire are easier to set up and configure. Csipsimple is also no longer available at the Google Play store.

> Csipsimple was my VoIP client for at least 10 years until there was a promotion to purchase Groundwire. It served me well and I recommend it to anyone on a strict budget.
